In short, you don’t care enough to know what truly happened? That’s fine with me you just seemed to be spending enough time debating the weak Sethite angle to make me think otherwise. I take the OCD approach to Bible study. I fixate on things until it all makes sense. Clearly the fallen angels who left their first estate did not get permission. That is why they are in chains. See, that makes sense. Sons of Seth and daughters of Cain, just doesn’t add up in any intelligent explanation, unless you completely imagine different meanings for the words in scripture. After the flood the lifespan was supposed to be reduced to no more than 120 years. The major dietary change post flood was meat consumption (Gen 9:3). Regardless, like you stated, it’s not a big deal to you. Be blessed, thanks for your response.
The 120 years was a reference to how long they had until the flood would come. Not average life spans. That is a rookie mistake. You are are not OCD at all. I suggest a book on hermeneutics rather than a mental illness.

Jesus said angels "in heaven" dont procreate. the angels in question were down here in this world.
Genesis calls them sons of God. Are fallen angels children of God or would they have a different father?

To that I will say thank you. It was suggested to me originally that was a declaration of man’s lifespan being dramatically reduced. Since man did in fact not cease to exist and his lifespan did dramatically drop I guess I failed to catch that one. Since your claim was probable, I immediately investigated and concluded that very well may be the situation. It’s all part of learning. That is the scientific method. Theory, observation and conclusion. I’m always happy to be corrected. Teachability is a prelude to wisdom. If there was anything to substantiate that the sons of elohim were Seth’s lineage I would be more than happy to concede on that also.

sons of God came in unto daughters of men and they (daughters of men) bear children unto them (sons of God) — Gen 6:4.

I believe Adam was created in the image and likeness of God as stated in Gen 1:26-27 and in Gen 5:1-2.

I believe the descendants of Adam were begotten in the likeness and image of Adam:

Genesis 5:3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image ...

Each succeeding generation is begotten after the image and likeness of their father and mother.

So do you believe both angelic beings co-existed on the earth with descendants of Adam and Eve?

And the angelic beings eventually died off ... or were destroyed in the flood?
So do you think we look like elohim? I think that the Bible shows that elohim (beings from the heavens) did and still do walk among us (Heb 13:2). Do you think it is plausible that the first humans could have been gigantic? If they didn’t have children until their sixties and eighties is it probable that they grew for over a hundred years and at 70 they were still adolescent? I’m just throwing out theories. I think it makes sense. Giants before and after the flood. Some were still living longer lives.

Where is your scripture

And who could call any fallen angel or Satan a son of God to begin with , not me for sure , You ?
5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? This is speaking about Jesus but we can become sons and daughters of God through re-birth .. ''Born Again'' of the Holy Spirit through faith in Jesus ..

Ha, did death and meat consumption began after Adam's fall in the garden or like you suggest after the flood ?.. God made for Adam clothing from animal skin before Adam got kicked out is what I understand . Hell was created for the devil and his angels , that is chained enough for me until someone unchains them with idolatry .. Where do you think the spirit the witch of Endor conjured up come from for Saul .. I don't think it was really Samuel do you ?

I enjoy talking about this and much other stuff .. I've thought about the adolescent thing too but concluded the weaning period would have increased proportionally too in which case other sons and daughters would have piled up on the wives pretty quick, imagine kids being 10,12 yrs old before they were weaned , mothers would have had to have giant boobs for potentially a child born every 9-10 months with more coming .. lol

We are created in the image of God ..
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Gen 9:3 “Everything that lives and moves about will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you everything.”

I have no opinion on the incident where Saul meets with the medium.

So you think it was the voluptuousness of the women that enticed the elohim?

Why do you suppose Abel was a shepherd ? For wool only ?

what do you suppose the sacrifice in Genesis 4 was -- to commemorate?
there is no record of it being commanded, but there is a record of blood having been shed in Genesis 3.
how many times do you suppose they had done this before the account in Genesis 4? or was this the first and only time he & Cain brought offerings?

It literally states sons of elohim, not Yahweh.
the sons
בְנֵי־ (ḇə·nê-)
Noun - masculine plural construct
Strong's Hebrew 1121: 1) son, grandson, child, member of a group 1a) son, male child 1b) grandson 1c) children (pl. - male and female) 1d) youth, young men (pl.) 1e) young (of animals) 1f) sons (as characterisation, i.e. sons of injustice [for un- righteous men] or sons of God [for angels] 1g) people (of a nation) (pl.) 1h) of lifeless things, i.e. sparks, stars, arrows (fig.) 1i) a member of a guild, order, class

of God
הָֽאֱלֹהִים֙ (hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm)
Article | Noun - masculine plural
Strong's Hebrew 430: 1) (plural) 1a) rulers, judges 1b) divine ones 1c) angels 1d) gods 2) (plural intensive-singular meaning) 2a) god, goddess 2b) godlike one 2c) works or special possessions of God 2d) the (true) God 2e) God
To satisfy a monotheistic view of scripture, the interpreters replaced elohim with God. In Genesis where it says Lord, it actually was Jehovah. Sometimes you see Lord God. This is Jehovah (self-existent) of the elohim (divine beings). Sons of elohim aren’t sons of Jehovah. They are sons of devine beings. Common term is extra terrestrials (beings not of earth, from the heavens).

I don't think any seers conjure up the dead, I think they conjure up lying spirits with perhaps a degree of knowledge instead if true at all .. I also tend to believe some NDE experience

You're speaking Greek to me and I told every one I'm not well read or educated .. But I've seen enough to know you can find anything you want one way or the other .. Such as Sethites being called sons of God , divine messengers .. John sent to the seven churches what he wrote and saw to the angels of the churches were these men or angel from heaven ? I say they were men from the churches who visited John at Patmos ..
