Thanks for your answer.
Now, what I'm asking is as you read that version, what is your perception of what the translator thought? Does the translator think that the Jews really want to serve the true God?
Or does the translator think that they really want to serve a false god?
Why you ask about the translator think? The original author is Holy Spirit.

And I believe the true god not teach to reject jesus

I believe you had asked me what
Worshipping God in ignorance
Meant.

I think it would look one way for a greek person in Athens, another way for a Jewish person, etc.
Both mean lack of knowledge?

That's cool!

Myself, I like to use a biblical formulation:
I want to remind you of the good news I preached to you. You received it and have put your faith in it. 2 Because you believed the good news, you are saved. But you must hold firmly to the message I preached to you. If you don’t, you have believed it for nothing.
3 What I received I passed on to you. And it is the most important of all. Here is what it is. Christ died for our sins, just as Scripture said he would. 4 He was buried. He was raised from the dead on the third day, just as Scripture said he would be. 5 He appeared to Peter. Then he appeared to the 12 apostles. 6 After that, he appeared to more than 500 brothers and sisters at the same time. Most of them are still living. But some have died. 7 He appeared to James. Then he appeared to all the apostles. 8 Last of all, he also appeared to me.

Well, if the translator thinks that Romans 10:2 is referring to Jews wanting to serve the true God, and if anyone who thinks that Jews want to serve the true God cannot be a Christian, then this version was translated by a non-Christian.

For that to be true, Catholics would have to believe that the true God wrote the Quran. I don't think they believe that.
Muslim believe the god on the Quran, why catholic say Muslim worship true god?

Logically speaking catholic must believe god in the Quran is true god

We have a clue to what the translator thinks.

In English, the convention is to capitalize the word "God" if the writer thinks it is referring to the true God. A false "god" is not capitalized. We can see that the NIRV follows this convention in this example here

8 At one time you didn’t know God. You were slaves to gods that are really not gods at all. 9 But now you know God.
https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Galatians+4&version=NIRV

So based on that, who does the translator think the Jews really want to serve in Romans 10:2?

Do Catholics say that Muslims are completely correct when Muslims say that they worship the god described in the Quran?

Just read ccc 841 brother

841 The Church's relationship with the Muslims. "The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind's judge on the last day."

It state muslim adore one mrrcifull God

And cccfurther identified as:

Mankind's judge in the last oN the last day.

> God Jesus.

Muslim don't believe Jesus as God, so this ccc is lie

I hear what you're saying, and I think something different.

Hopefully as time goes by we will come to understand each other better!
And I hope finally you admit catholic is not Christian.

Yes, the translator isn't always right.

Since the translator says that Jews really want to serve the true God, the translator cannot be a Christian.
The translator is attacking the foundation of Christianity!

From your link

8 At one time you didn’t know God. You were slaves to gods that are really not gods at all. 9 But now you know God. Even better, God knows you. So why are you turning back to those weak and worthless powers? Do you want to be slaves to them all over again?

Verse 8 you don't know God with capital G mean true God

" you were Slave to god lower case g mean false God

Nothing wrong with this translation
