Genesis 6:1-2 Revisited. Unredeemable

Just to share my ideas..... These Nephilim were the offspring of Cain, they were the "serpent seed" but still subject to be redeemed because they became humans or they got the chance to become humans. They were the 'spirit in prisons" visited by Christ during 3 days, and the Gospel was ALSO preached to them(see 1 Peter 4:6 and 1 Peter 3:18–20) . Of course, if the Gospel being preached it's attached salvation.

The Niphilim were not the offspring of Cain and there is no scripture to prove that. The word "Nephilim" in the Hebrew does not mean the"serpent seed" and there is no scripture to prove it. The word "Nephilim" means "fallen ones" as in fallen angels and there is proof that the giants of Genesis 6 were angels who fell from heaven. Besides how did the seed of the serpent get into Cain in the first place.
I have an answer but I would like for you to tell me your answer first.
Jud 1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, (gave up mortality for immortality" but left their own habitation, (left their habitation in heaven for habitation on earth) he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
The fallen angels spoken of in
2Pe 2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
Which is why the Word of God calls the fallen angels "The sons of God". The giants of Genesis were fallen angels.
Gen 6:2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
Proof that the Word of God uses the term "sons of God" to speak of angels comes from the book of Job where the term 'sons of God" is used twice more to describe angels.
Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.
Job 2:1 Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD.
This whole idea or teaching that some how the giants of Genesis 6 were the off spring of Cain or Seth is nothing but garbage and there is no scripture to prove the giant were anything but fallen angels which can be proven with the scriptures I just quoted.

Scripture quoted from it, and scripture is from God. We need to know the men who wrote what God spoke to them. these writings are of that time and are history, too. I do not think you are right to say they are all crazy, not to be considered or thought about. That is what the Pharisees and Sadducees did to Christ. Which is why the Word of God calls the fallen angels "The sons of God". The giants of Genesis were fallen angels.

Sorry you caught me on that one. I struggle with dyslexia so sometimes things come out the opposite of what I am thinking. The angels gave up mortality for immortality.

The seed that created the giants did not exist because the giants were fallen angels which were never a seed at all but were created out of nothing by God and they came from heaven, not earth.
There is however a belief that satan actually had sex with Eve and proof of that belief is supposed to be represented in fallowing verses.
Gen 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
So in Gen 3:15 when it says "and between thy seed and her seed" the scripture was talking about the serpents seed which was already in Eve and the seed of Adam which was soon to be inside of Eve.
Gen 4:1 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.
Gen 4:2 And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.
Before Gen 4:1 there is no record of Adam having sex with Eve which is what the words "And Adam knew Eve his wife" are talking about. But here is an interesting observation. Adam did not have sex with Eve between the birth of Cain and the birth of Abel which means that Cain and Abel were born at the same time. They were twins and just as God said that He would put "emnity" between the two seeds there was exactly that. Cain because jealous of Able and killed him.
The next time Adam "knew his wife" was before the birth of Seth.
Gen 4:25 And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.
The fall in the Garden messed up way more then folks realize. Just a little food for thought. You got the serpent seed inside of Cain correct but it went into Eve first and then into Cain. You got the giant thing wrong, they were created as angels at first not born of a woman.

This time we are in a clash in this topic, since you believe these fallen angels gave up their immortality to become mortal(human) not by birth of a woman. So by what did they become human?? While I believe in order for them to be a permanent mortal and to reproduce a babies Nephilim from their own genes they must undergo physical birth. It’s a magic as what you tell me that these giants aka Nephilim came in the physical body without a seed. Yes, angels created by God from nothing on their state being spirit, but not their physical bodies as Nephilim. Even our Lord Jesus was born with genes of Israelites through Mary with the overshadow of Holy Spirit. Do I need to attached scriptural support that the Holy Spirit overshadows Mary?

miknik5 in verse 19 tells us that Jesus ALSO preached to the spirits in prison, who are those in spirits in prisons? The answer can be read in verse 20. Now the question, are the mentioned disobedient people are already dead in spirits in prison? If the answer is Yes, so we cannot come to fully deny that the dead mentioned in 1 Peter 4:6 is an actual physical death while assuming it refers to gentiles. If the answer is No, there is something wrong with your logic.
