crossnote what do you understand these two verses?
“Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many.” -Matthew 27:51-53

"This is why it says: "When he ascended on high, he took many captives and gave gifts to his people." - Ephesians 4:8
I understand they have very little to do with each other...

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: (Eph 4:4-13)

Mt 27 has to do with the torn veil...which separated man from God.

Eph 4 has to do with the gifts He has purchased us through His death.

But why a coming judgment (with fire)? Aren't we just as wicked but without the 'intermarriage' of angels and men or are we to say there are 'people' walking around today 'half demon, half man' who are unredeemable?
In the apocrypal, I am told, it tells us that devels are fallen angels, but demons are dead souls of Nephlim.

There is a chance that some nephilim survived the flood. The fallen angels that cohabited with women must have been the class of angels that can take the form of man. We are told this class exists in Hebrews. The Bible states: "Be not forgetful to entertain strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares." (Hebrews 13:2).

Makes me wonder if demons exist in our world today.

The interpretation of Genesis 6:1-2 as referring unto fallen angels is the reason for Genesis 6:3 which began in the beginning when men began to multiply upon the face of the earth, and knowing that the imagination of man was contrary to the truth which is why we have this fictitious account of fallen angels breeding with mankind.
As the LORD said, the liars can lie for all the days of flesh and then the children of truth won't have to hear them anymore. It cuts down on the striving in heaven.

What would you like to do with them?

1 Corinthians 6:3

3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

I think let them be thrown into the lake of fire with the sluts that they so desired, in the name of Jesus, amen.

Jude 1:6-7

6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

crossnote I wait for your answer for the whole day but it did not come, never mind I will continue to give my commentary to the following verses I presented to you. Anyway you give your answer/comment to my first questions regarding the two verses Matthew 27:51-53 Ephesians 4:8.
Regarding your answer to Matthew 27:51-53 that it has to do with the torn veil which separated man from God, but you failed or maybe you refused to comment about the resurrected saints together with Christ and appeared to many. In regard to single verse Ephesians 4:8 I presented to you, but in return you presented to me Ephesians 4:4-13 and after all your answer is the gifts He has purchased us through His death, when in fact your answer can be only singled out in Ephesians 4:8.
Regarding to my second question to you that you failed to answer. Let us begin in Luke 4:18 that it partly says regarding Christ mission “To proclaim liberty to the captives”, and indeed this mission is literally accomplished by Christ when He gone to “spirit in prison” preaching the Gospel. (If you can remember my previous post that ask you about the “spirit in prisons”, but you failed to answer, maybe you don’t know about it or you just refuse to answer.) Now, when Jesus resurrected He got with Him the resurrected saints and appeared to many, in other words he got the captives from the spirit in prisons where He preached.

The Apocrypha says a lot of crazy things, it’s no wonder Jesus never quoted from it.

The old testament saint were not in a prison but rather in the bosom of Abraham the invisible presence of God. The bride of Christ were waiting for the suffering of their bloody husband as the Son of man and the glory that did follow the words "it is finished". The graves as to that glory were opened. the trial was over the debt paid in full.

They on the other side of the reformation received the end of their gift from the beginning just as us. We look back to that glorious moment by faith they looked ahead

Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.1 Peter 1: 9-11

The captives are never those who had a will separate from a unseen entity. The creature was designated in that way to obey the will of another. He returned the captives to their designed captivity .He proclaimed the liberty of the gospel it freed them to do the will of the creator .Many angels in heaven witnessed the the ten of thousands of old testament saint entering in. He caused a earthquake and took away the light to aid the unseen work of the entering the ressurection gates the rapture.

crossnote and garee in my observations, mostly of the interpretations I heard that the called sons of God or the fallen angels came to earth and possessed the earthlings(men) in order for them and had sex through the men with the women, that resulted of Nephilim ancestors. Is that possible that the spirit fallen angel who possessed human(men) his sperm cell belong to the fallen angel?? Can the spirit fallen angel produce his own sperm cell to other human person he possessed?? Of course, who owns the physical body is owner of the sperm cell, and the results of the genetics of will be the child is the genes of a normal person and will not result to a giant bloodlines.

To reconcile the situation of the sons of God/fallen angel marrying women and pass their very own genes, must first they come to human physical birth(not possessed the body of another person). What I said in my previous post, which I assert that Nephilim were the offspring of Cain, they were the "serpent seed" but still subject to be redeemed because they became humans or they got the chance to become humans.

In John 10:16, Christ talk about his another sheep from the other fold or another dimension that he must bring ALSO, that they too must hear her voice. Exactly the fulfillment of this when Christ went to spirit in prisons preaching the Gospel!
