Why, OTHER THAN prophecy, did Jesus death be determined by God, TO BE ON A CROSS?

Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins, and the blood of animals only covered sins, and then every year they had to be covered again, and could never completely wash away sins so there was no forgiveness of sins to qualify for spiritual salvation.
But the blood of Jesus' humanity washes away sins completely so spiritual salvation can be obtained.
Jesus was afflicted according to His humanity, and by His stripes we are healed.
And the Son learned obedience by the things He suffered.
And all that will live godly will suffer persecution, so the man Christ Jesus suffered persecution like any other saint.
Jesus lived as a sinless person, living godly, so He would suffer for that, and suffered on the cross to completely wash away our sins so we could have eternal life.
But the blood of Jesus' humanity washes away sins completely so spiritual salvation can be obtained.

Therefore I will divide him a portion with the many, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong, because he poured out his soul to death and was numbered with the transgressors; yet he bore the sin of many, and makes intercession for the transgressors. (Isa 53:12 ESV)
"And if a man has committed a crime punishable by death and he is put to death, and you hang him on a tree, (Deu 21:22 ESV)
his body shall not remain all night on the tree, but you shall bury him the same day, for a hanged man is cursed by God. You shall not defile your land that the LORD your God is giving you for an inheritance. (Deu 21:23 ESV)

It was far more than satisfying God's wrath. Jesus went through brutal torture mentally and physically so much so he was scared before it happened and prayed that this cup be taken from him if it was his fathers will. The one thing that has been a dividing factor is not just the division betwen God and human sin but the human experience itself.
We sometimes think to ourselves why is God sitting in heaven when we are going through all this suffering it's not as if he knows what it is like. But because of this Jesus showed he does indeed know what we are going through, he went through every mocking every slandering every brutal beating stabbing ect. He the king of kings stepped off his throne to suffer the human experience so that when we are down and hurting he says to us I have been there.
Salvation was the mission but the mission was far more than just that, in becoming human he connected us to God in more ways than one. he felt betrayal he felt fear he felt the pain of losing one he loved dearly he made sure we knew that we are not alone in our suffering. It's like I always say the one thing that seems to connect people more than anything is suffering. To know what others are going through and the comfort of knowing you are not alone in your suffering, more than hope more than love this seems to be the thing that tends to connect people the most.

It is impossible for me to fathom the Father having taken any wrath out on His Only Begotten Son, our King and Savior.
He did say "This is my beloved Son in Whom I am well pleased, hear Him.!
No, our Father allowed Him to suffer for each one of us, and that is quite the incredible gift I have received from theCross.
When the time is here, mankind will see God's wrath, do not try to hurry it, for it will be here soon enough. All love and blessings in Jesus-Yeshua...

It could be argued that a crucifixion was the most painful death known to man. For this reason it was designed.
Also, a crucifixion exalts and humiliates simultaneously. Its a perfect picture for a servant king.
"It is a glorious phrase—“He led captivity captive.” The very triumphs of his foes, it means, he used for their defeat. He compelled their dark achievements to subserve his ends not theirs. They nailed him to a tree, not knowing that by that very act they were bringing the world to his feet. They gave him a cross, not guessing that he would make it a throne. They flung him outside the city gates to die, not knowing that in that very moment they were lifting up the gates of the universe, to let the king come in. They thought to root out his doctrines, not understanding that they were implanting imperishably in the hearts of men the very name they intended to destroy. They thought they had God with his back to the wall, pinned helpless and defeated: they did not know that it was God himself who had tracked them down. He did not conquer in spite of the dark mystery of evil. He conquered through it."

In the book of Numbers, Baalam is hired to curse Israel.
But each time Baalam instead blesses Israel.
And when Baalam is on the highest (mountain) hill I think he sees the shape that is made by Israels camp.
Which is in the shape of a cross.
Its in Numbers but you have take all the numbers of all the tribes and place them in the position around the tabernacle that scripture says they are camped.
There are an equal (relatively) number north and south. And then the east has the most and the west the least. If memory serves...
Its the only time I know of where the cross is foreshadowed in scripture. And its not necessarily a symbol of death but of Power and Gods Blessing.
