The pagan religions began because the people started to forget about Lord God. Once a people forgets about Lord God they begin to be a prey for the demons, the evil spirits. The demons are literally the breath of Satan, whom is a dragon whom breathes out lies. Once a people group forgets Lord God and becomes subject to the demons, the lies of Satan, they will make idols to the various lies and begin practicing rituals to commune with the lies, which is witchcraft.
The idols and the witchcrafts of a society often portray the common lies of that society. For example a lot of ancient pagan religion are based on race because originally the races were separate and so when the peoples forgot God they forgot also their fathers and so began making idols to bastardized forms of the patriarchs or to outright mythical founders (ie: Greek mythology's cult of Zeus starts in Dodona a city clearly named after patriarch Dodanim, Egyptian mythology starts with the deification of Mizraim/Menes into Ra, etc.) On a more local level in ancient societies it was common for localities based around rivers to make idols and localized cults to false gods of a river, and likewise for other localized geographical formations (ie: mountains, oceans, forests, etc.) In the last century when you would have a society that believes in the lie of communism they'd make idols to the dictator or various communist personas (ie: statues to the communist leaders, communist propaganda posters personifying the proletariat, etc.) In the West today where the lies of feminism and whoredom reign you will notice that they venerate some form of a woman (either a goddess like in wicca or for the more atheistic, mother nature) and their systems of witchcrafts revolve mostly around condoning and/or committing fornication (having multiple sexual partners as contrary to God's original way of one man and one woman for life).
Whatever the common lies of the society is at a given time and location, to that will they begin creating idols and doing witchcraft, because in essence idolatry is stubbornness in refusing to acknowledge God and witchcraft is outright rebelliousness against God and his good and true ways. So in summary, when a society forgets Lord God and the good and true ways of God, or the knowledge of God is present and they simply rebel, they will cleave to lies and begin to formulate doctrines of devils, make idols, and practice witchcrafts to those lies.

The sons of Noah; Shem, Ham, and Japheth, the fathers of the arch-races certainly knew about God since Jesus saved them from the Flood and Noah afterwards blessed Shem and Japheth in the name of God. It is sometime after the patriarchs and before Abraham that they fell into paganism, most likely sometime around or shortly after the Tower of Babel and the spreading out of the races to their apportioned lands.

A team of researchers based at 11 labs in New York City and Israel has for the first time set up a database of genomes drawn exclusively from Ashkenazi Jews. The work is expected to be medically valuable not only for diseases common in this population but—with respect to cancer, for instance—for everybody, according to the paper’s senior author, Itsik Pe’er, an associate professor of computer science and systems biology at Columbia University.
But the research has also provided additional evidence for a current genetic theory about the origins of the Ashkenazim: that the founding population numbered no more than a few hundred people, Jewish men from the Middle East and the local women they married after they arrived in Europe.
The Ashkenazim are Jews who settled in Central and Eastern Europe, probably about a millennium ago. Their 13 million descendants, about 80% of the global Jewry, now live everywhere. About eight million live in the U.S., about 2 percent of the country’s population.
Because until recently they hardly ever married outsiders, the Ashkenazim possess gene variants rarely found in other populations, including some that cause devastating diseases like Tay-Sachs. Ashkenazi Jews also have an unusually high frequency of mutations that increase the risk of other diseases, such as Parkinson’s disease and the BRCA genes that predispose to breast, ovarian, and other kinds of cancer.
The new data resource is expected to improve genomic research in the Ashkenazim and lead to more effective personalized medicine for them. The researchers have collated complete genomes from 128 healthy Ashkenazi Jews and assembled a catalog of gene variants specific to that population. They plan to add 500 more complete Ashkenazi genomes to make the database even more useful.
The origins of the Ashkenazim
The team’s findings have also provided evidence that the Ashkenazi community was founded by a small group of a few hundred people. The paper, which appeared in Nature Communications on September 9, 2014, estimates the founding date to have been between 600 and 800 years ago.
Gregory Cochran, a physicist, wrote on his blog West Hunter that while he liked the paper in general, he believes this estimated settlement date isn’t quite old enough. Cochran is co-author with Henry Harpending, an anthropologist and population geneticist, of The 10,000 Year Explosion, a book about recent fast evolution of humanity; both are at the University of Utah.
The new paper puts the time between generations at about 25 years, but Cochran argues that 30 years is more likely. Also, he says, Jews were known to be in the Rhineland before the year 1000 AD. By his calculations, the original Ashkenazi settlement date was most likely between 900 and 1,150 years ago.
A number of different theories have been proposed to explain Ashkenazi origins. The one with the best genetic support now is that the Founding Fathers were Middle Eastern Jews who migrated to Europe and found their soulmates among indigenous Europeans. But there are hundreds of copies of mtDNA in each cell, which makes them much easier to find and sequence than nuclear DNA, present in just one copy.
Mitochondria are never inherited from a father, only from a mother, who passes her mtDNA along to each of her children. Identifying different kinds of mitochondria in a population and comparing them to what is known about the geographical distribution of different sets of mtDNA permits researchers to figure out where a population’s original mothers came from.
The research published last year showed that just 4 women contributed their distinctive sets of mtDNA (known as haplotypes) to 40% of the Ashkenazi population. All these mtDNA types originated in Europe. Another 40 percent of the Ashkenazi population possess other mtDNA that is of likely European origin.
Michael Balter reported at Science that some of that mtDNA might have appeared in Europe as long as 7,500 or more years ago, before farming came to the continent. “The closest matches were with mtDNAs from people who today live in and around Italy,” he said. Hardly any were from the Middle East.
If these studies hold up, one conclusion from them is that, among the Ashkenazim at least, the a a significant proportion of Jewish Mothers were not, in fact, of Jewish ancestry. In Halacha, Jewish Religious Law, the child of a Jewish mother is a Jew.
“If being Jewish is defined as genetically descending from the Israelites through the maternal line, then many Ashkenazi Jews fail the test, according to this data,” Balter says.
However, Jewish law explicitly rejects genetics as a determinative measure of Jewish lineage. An although some Orthodox Jews adopt a strict interpretation of matrilineal descent as a basis for being considered Jewish, Reform and secular Jews—the majority of the world’s Jewish population—do not.

A number of different theories have been proposed to explain Ashkenazi origins. The one with the best genetic support now is that the Founding Fathers were Middle Eastern Jews who migrated to Europe and found their soulmates among indigenous Europeans. It’s another blow to the theory—promoted originally by journalist Arthur Koestler and more recently by geneticst Eran Elhaik—that European Jewry (Ashkenazim) are descendants of converted Kazars, a formerly pagan empire that ruled parts of Eurasia in the late first century. Cochran’s paper, which concurs with most current research, draws heavily on studies of Ashkenazi mitochondrial DNA published last October in Nature Communications. Genetic Literacy Project executive director Jon Entine discussed this paper here at the GLP.
Mitochondria are the small structures that provide energy to the cell. They contain only 37 genes, compared to the DNA in the cell nucleus, which contains about 25,000 protein-coding genes. But there are hundreds of copies of mtDNA in each cell, which makes them much easier to find and sequence than nuclear DNA, present in just one copy.
Mitochondria are never inherited from a father, only from a mother, who passes her mtDNA along to each of her children. Identifying different kinds of mitochondria in a population and comparing them to what is known about the geographical distribution of different sets of mtDNA permits researchers to figure out where a population’s original mothers came from.
The research published last year showed that just 4 women contributed their distinctive sets of mtDNA (known as haplotypes) to 40% of the Ashkenazi population. All these mtDNA types originated in Europe. Another 40 percent of the Ashkenazi population possess other mtDNA that is of likely European origin.
Michael Balter reported at Science that some of that mtDNA might have appeared in Europe as long as 7,500 or more years ago, before farming came to the continent. “The closest matches were with mtDNAs from people who today live in and around Italy,” he said. Hardly any were from the Middle East.
If these studies hold up, one conclusion from them is that, among the Ashkenazim at least, the a a significant proportion of Jewish Mothers were not, in fact, of Jewish ancestry. In Halacha, Jewish Religious Law, the child of a Jewish mother is a Jew.
“If being Jewish is defined as genetically descending from the Israelites through the maternal line, then many Ashkenazi Jews fail the test, according to this data,” Balter says.
However, Jewish law explicitly rejects genetics as a determinative measure of Jewish lineage. An although some Orthodox Jews adopt a strict interpretation of matrilineal descent as a basis for being considered Jewish, Reform and secular Jews—the majority of the world’s Jewish population—do not.

The other sect of Jews, those who Hitler tried to destroy, we do not see them as lineage Jews. We are not saying they are not Jews, but they cannot trace their ancestory back to where we can.

Well I will answer to God that those that hated God and his ways were indeed worthy of their condemnation which God pronounced against them from times ancient to the times of the end. The pagans and their sympathizers whom are greatly accursed were not innocent, their blood is upon their own heads because they hated the only Living God and they loved the lies more than they loved the truth. The great heroes of the faith that loved God were not murderers, they were valiant doing God's will for the love of the only True God and saving their people of their time, and even doing well for us here and now by setting for us the example, so that the knowledge of God be not perished and the wicked that uphold the hands of the enemy shall have no excuse.
The good love God and his ways which are the truth and the light. The wicked love the Devil and all his ways which are the lies and the darkness. Eternity is a long time indeed, and you'll be with which side you loved.
Deuteronomy 8:19-20
19 And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the Lord thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish.
20 As the nations which the Lord destroyeth before your face, so shall ye perish; because ye would not be obedient unto the voice of the Lord your God.
Oh, if you wish to adhere to the old testament then you must abandon the new when offering Deuteronomy as your platform for violating Jesus love commandments. And then you must ascribe your life and practice to all edicts contained in the Deuteronomic code. Not excerpt what passage out of context you believe sustains your intolerance of others who are not Christian. Which of course is contrary to the Great Commission. One cannot first hate people Jesus told us to minister to.
And Jesus was not intolerant of others who were not Jews. And He was not intolerant of them, nor did He withhold His love. The Canaanite woman with the sick daughter, the Roman Centurion who sought healing of his sick servant, even Pilate.The Samaritan woman, she who had many husbands, whom Jesus met at the well. And so many others who were not Jews.
Jesus came into the world as the way, the truth, and the life. Jesus died for the sins of the people of the whole world and for all time, bearing their sins upon himself on the cross so that we would not suffer unto death for them. Jesus came to save people and how did He deal with those people who were Jews and non-Jews? With love, gentleness, and charity.
He lived the Good News because He is the Holy Spirit that is the Word of Saving Grace.
The Good Samaritan parable is a timely reminder here.
Hatred is not Good News. Self righteous advocacy of hatred is not the ministry of love. Thank you God that Jesus did not preach Salvation by defending intolerance and hate of those not Saved.
