And what is their work that they need to lay down? They would have to lay down their self-righteousness and cease from THEIR work.

I hope one day you’ll understand the actual concept of God’s grace. It is written, “All sinners among my people will die by the sword, all those who say disaster will not meet or overtake us.”
A painter, paints. A sinner, sins.
Reminds me of many on this thread who have bought a false gospel, hook, line and sinker... as the whole western christian church has, basically. 2 Cor. 11:3,4
Lol. I was raised in “church”. See Jude 4, grace was turned into licentiousness. In truth, however, we get set free from sin and are made godly, as it is written: “He who does what is right is righteous. He who does what is sinful is of the devil.” Truth.I hope one day you’ll understand the actual concept of God’s grace.
And didn’t learn a thing.I was raised in “church”.
On the contrary - I was a good little antichrist myself. And didn’t learn a thing.
You still are. You have my sympathies. On the contrary - I was a good little antichrist myself.
Lol. You can't hear the Word of God:You still are. You have my sympathies.
You judging everyone who disagrees with you as being guilty for licentiousness shows you’re guilty of wrongful judgment upon people who put their faith in Jesus Christ.Lol. You can't hear the Word of God:

It’s always been about our hearts and conduct and that’s what the real Jesus came to change. He didn’t come to merely forgive us, He came to liberate us and teach us to do the will of the Father in all things, as He did.
It's the Good News of the Kingdom, or government, of God. Hallelujah!!! Righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
Isn't it God's grace to not live in sin anymore, rather than it being God's grace that we can?I hope one day you’ll understand the actual concept of God’s grace.
You’re missing the point completely. People who believe in eternal security don’t push living in an ungodly manner. We simply recognize nothing separates us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. His gift of grace is irrevocable.Isn't it God's grace to not live in sin anymore, rather than it being God's grace that we can?
"11For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. 12It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age" - Titus 2:11-12
Why do so many people see the grace of God as being able to not live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age instead of what the Bible says is God's grace?
It is written, “All sinners among my people will die by the sword, all those who say disaster will not meet or overtake us.”

Any teaching that says grace makes it so we can use our freedom in Christ to indulge the flesh is making grace a license to sin.You judging everyone who disagrees with you as being guilty for licentiousness shows you’re guilty of wrongful judgment upon people who put their faith in Jesus Christ.
That's saying grace is a license to sin.People who believe in eternal security don’t push living in an ungodly manner. We simply recognize nothing separates us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus.
...Apart from the 'never' aspect, that is.How did the Reformed movement go from living in sin being the sign that you were never saved to begin with to living in sin not having any relationship to salvation whatsoever?
At least that part of the old osas was correct, because that's exactly what the Bible says.
Who was CC proclaims that? Name names and provide supportive evidence.Any teaching that says grace makes it so we can use our freedom in Christ to indulge the flesh is making grace a license to sin.
I'll just ask you.Who was CC proclaims that? Name names and provide supportive evidence.
I’m trying to maintain my cool with you judge but you’re making that a lesson in futility. That's saying grace is a license to sin.
I'll just ask you.
Can I as a born again believer choose to live in sin and me not lose my salvation?
This ^^^^ is the Gospel, pure and simple.Instead of depending on one's own righteousness, depend on Christ's righteousness and his grace. It is resting in the security of salvation through faith in Jesus and resting in God's love and acceptance verses needing to earn/keep salvation or seeking to be good to be accepted.
