Most of the NT does not line up with today's free will based soteriology. Nor today's non-existent kingdom of the Pharisees waiting for the future, the Millennium. It's two different Christianities.
I disagree, not to be argumentative, it had and has EVERYTHING to do with Jesus our Savior. He was asking them and us to pay Him forward, He and the cause of God, His Father, was He not?

The message is the same throughout the Bible...Jesus is our King, and He is the One who reconciled us to God. He is our Savior. The good news of the Gospel is our Savior. Praise His Holy Name.
I believe we are called to pay His love and mercy forward, giving Him all the Glory, standing in His Holy Victory.

Agreed. The death, burial and resurrection (Paul’s gospel) was hidden until after it happened. Then slowly did the Lord start to open up their minds to the reason of the cross.
the question was "what did Jesus send his disciples out to preach? To save space and to come to the point, read SLOWLY Luke 9: 18-22. Here we see only the gospel of repentance was being preached at that time, saying the kingdom of God was at hand, and for the reasons given in verse 22. Another would be John 7: 37-39. Jesus himself saying that the Spirit of God was not given. The people were born again after Jesus' resurrection and the preaching now included his identity as Christ.
I think what you are trying to say is Jesus's death burial and resurrection for sins was not preached in Luke.
But the Jews then were saved by believing that Jesus is the Son of God (John 20:31), they don't have to believe nor understand that Jesus had to die for their sins.
The question I answered for you from the thread, was contained in Luke 9: 18-22. The Holy Spirit and the identity of Christ was not preached until after the resurrection. Read John 7: 37-39 for more clarity and the reason that only repentance was preached while Jesus was still alive.

You are incorrect. The identity of Christ as the son of God was the central theme of the gospel of the kingdom. John 20:30-31 made that clear.
Both Martha and Peter was recorded in the gospels as believing in the identity of Christ.
