Well - the Devil doesn't win if we are saved. (from a personal perspective - not the grand scheme - obviously God wins in the end and those who are his win by association)
But if you are an unbeliever and you DIE then the devil won - in your particular case.
As a Christian if I die of this virus I still win. There is no loosing with Christ as Lord.
BUT if I go out and about with the virus and infect people - or I go out and about and pick it up and bring it to my roomie who has plenty of health conditions - then I am reckless.
I pray for healing - and pray for people to be healed - but I don't know about you all - I have not necessarily seen many healing miracles. I know they happen - I know the Lord has healed me. But I also know that for the bigger part of my life I was very very sick without healing and I prayed every day for healing. And I had super "healers" pray over me and it did not work - and I would act on faith so much that I nearly died because I would stubbornly refuse to seek a doctor - because the "Symptoms" were not real.
But sometimes - we are sick. Sometimes we are allowed to die from sickness. So where is the line?
There is probably no right or wrong answer - only that we do things according to our faith. And according to what we feel the Lord is leading us to do. And we should keep peoples best interest in our minds...
Is that wrong?
""if I go out and about with the virus and infect people - or I go out and about and pick it up and bring it to my roomie who has plenty of health conditions - then I am reckless. ""
True
"" I have not necessarily seen many healing miracles. I know they happen - I know the Lord has healed me. Yes indeed
That troubles me also.
But years ago the Lord showed me "the irrevocable prayer"
It is answered 100% of the time.
What we see now is that some of our prayers are not answered.
The irrevocable prayer brings a answer/miracle everytime.
It is always answered.
There is another prayer always answered.
Mat 18:18,19
It is combined with the parable of persistence(keep praying and knocking)
Some use one or the other with zero results.
Bottom line...without knowledge from heaven..we will remain in our ignorance.
IOW it is the H S that leads us to what we need to do,stop doing, and tweak what we know.
Those that are carnal nominal believers will see nominal power.
Those not committed...God will commit very little to.
Those without investment in the word, worship and grounded in faith knowledge will see such frustration when attempting to get a result from heaven.
No investment....equals no return.
It is a law from,in,and by heaven.
So...enter the man of God to pray for others. He stands in the gap and sees results.
Then he prays for a disobedient carnal believer.
Nothing happens.
He moves on to the next.
