I am glad they are both wearing pyjamas.
I noticed in my pyjama thread some people refuse to wear them. I am supposing those same people walk around naked in their living room
Personally I cant picture married life where you go round wearing no clothes.

If I were married, each Friday night, I would split the bread and have communion with my wife. That's what I really want in life.

Well there ARE a lot of people who get married for only that reason... Those couples don't seem to last long, but it sure happens a lot.in a thread about marriage.......
should I leave the thought that just popped in my mind here..........
or just let everyone think about what it might be.....?![]()

wish I could remember what it was......Go ahead and tell us what you were thinking, GG.
We Singles need advice from those who have experience with marriage to tell us how it really is.
That’s exactly what I was thinking but you stated it better. The quickest path to disappointment is expectations. When we set up the ideal we create expectations. Instead of compromise and growing together to build something new, the ideal can lead to inflexibility. For example, if your ideal is to get little love notes and flowers as a proof of love you may not notice that he changed the oil in your car, folded your laundry the way you like or gave you the drumstick when he likes them too, and understand these things as expressions of love. An ideal cannot be one size fits all. I think that one of the few things that work is when you are dedicated to their happiness, growth, protection and sense of well being and they are doing the same. It can't be something idealized. All you will see is where things didn't measure up to an arbitrary goal. The more you take expectations out of the equation and see what things actually are, you can find reasons for joy.
Are (were) you involved in martial arts? What styles interest you? The reason I ask is that since I was young I found them compelling. I’m at a point now in life where I will have both the time and money to invest in a hobby. To keep my mind and body active I’m thinking of learning guitar and Jiu-Jitsu. Thoughts...Besides this thread went a whole month without anyone hyjacking it so, it’s time. When I had the luxury of being a wife, we used to talk about martial arts, operative training and candles in the wind...and then everything else...now I wanna cry.
