All these myths and pagan things were satanś way of distorting GODŚ TRUTH.

Satan knew THE STORY of salvation...he knew the PLAN, but instead of THE TRUTH, he twisted it and distorted it and and whispered these lies and imitations so as to sow in seeds of doubt and confusion...so as to keep men from coming to THE TRUTH

It has been going on from the beginning

GOD is before all these myths and distortions..

You see, many profess to have god(s), but deny THE SON... and he who denies THE SON, denies THE FATHER who sent him.

GOD, by sending HIS SON.,..shut up the mouth of satan...

Isaiah 8 explains it much better

God also required human sacrifice
Others have accused you of being a troll. I'm not (yet), but I will note that the style of interaction you are using is consistent with that of people who were later exposed as trolls, and rarely used by people who actually want to learn. If you're not trolling, perhaps you'd consider changing your style?

Instead of typing quick, contentious questions, how about giving us a better-rounded idea of your position and your reasons for these questions or comments.

As for "human sacrifice", God asked for it exactly once, with Abraham, and did not allow him to complete the act. So it is disingenuous to claim that God "required" it.

GOD required HIS SON to lay down HIS LIFE for us...that is what GOD required.

Satan took that TRUTH and whispered and muttered to superstitious men who knew there was a god, but did not grow in their knowledge of THAT GOD...they rather, thought that what they heard whispered in their ear was the voice of god...

But there is only ONE VOICE/SPIRIT of GOD and HIS TRUTH remains CONSTANT...

The witnesses will testify to ONE TRUTH...

GOD did that for our benefit. GOD, through visible signs and symbols, knowing our limited humanity, knowing that we always need representations and visible signs and symbols to understand hidden, invisible spiritual truths, provided these signs so that we would look back and bring to mind that all along HE was pointing us to HIS PROMISED SON...

BIND up THE TESTIMONY amongst my DISCIPLES

...and when they tell you to seek spirits, should not a people consult their GOD?

To the TESTIMONY and to THE INSTRUCTION...

Many, rather than stopping, falling to their knees, and praying from their heart, will seek ¨supposed ẅise men" who will fill their itchy ears with what they think is truth,...

But itś a lie...

But in a deeper theological truth it was God who sacrificed Himself.

Jeremiah 7:30-31 "For the sons of Judah have done that which is evil in My sight,” declares the Lord, “they have set their detestable things in the house which is called by My name, to defile it. They have built the high places of Topheth, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, which I did not command, and it did not come into My mind."
Jesus was
A pagan is, generally speaking from a Christian standpoint, anyone who rejects the authority of the One True God Whom we know personally as Jesus Christ. Saying God required human sacrifice is not entirely correct, for Jesus is God incarnate. Fact: Jesus willingly gave His life that those who believe in Him may attain to life ever after. This is Christianity 101.

Your false idols are very real.

Bringing this back to Genesis: some of my favorite "stories" are there, starting with Abraham and Sarah, and the exploits of their descendants down to Joseph especially, a favorite with many. Joseph saved his people from starvation and explains how the Hebrews ended up in Egypt, first as free peoples, and then as slaves, who Moses was raised up to lead out of bondage, another picture of where all sinners are (in bondage).

Reading through this account, of Moses entreating Pharaoh to let his people go, you may notice that many plagues are brought upon the Egyptians. What you may not know (though it is explicitly stated in the text), is that these plagues were to demonstrate to the Egyptians God's total sovereignty over all the gods and false idols of the most powerful nation in the world. This is seen most clearly at the final plague where God says, “and on all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment” (Exodus 12:12). Likewise in Numbers 33:4 He states that the plagues were an attack on the gods of Egypt. Pharaoh himself was considered a god by his people. Doing a study on the vast array of these false gods and idols can be very interesting, not losing sight of the fact that God displays His power specifically in order to show that He is the only true God and the only One Who is worthy of worship.

Those who followed them regarded them just as real as Christians regard God as being real.

All seemed to require sacrifice whether human, animal or otherwise.

It strikes me as interesting that other cultures and religious beliefs have a respect for other deities not their own - but this doesn't seem to hold true for many Christians.

The Hebrew God originally required human sacrifice as well, but the practice seems to have been abolished fairly early on.
God required sacrifice?

But Jesus IS God yet still a human, right? He was a sacrifice.

Apologies, the Jesus being God but also the son of God confuses me. Either way, he was a sacrifice, for it is Jewish custom that blood should be spilled to appease god I believe

Jesus was what? Human? Jesus is God incarnate.
He took on flesh to willingly pay the penalty for sin, which is death.

JWs acknowledge the One True God, though they deny the Deity of Christ.
They have rewritten the Bible to reflect their beliefs in that regard.

I would not call them pagan. Why do you ask? Are you JW?

It is jewish custom that blood washes and makes clean what is unclean before GOD.
In the temple, the blood was a covering...it was supposed to be an animal without blemish (without sin)...

GOD looked upon that sacrifice and accepted it in place of unclean man...

But that was only a foreshadow of THE PROMISE of HIS SON
