It is sad that you think you are not part of the elect in Christ.
Matthew 24:21-22 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

I am glad I am delivered from wrath, so unlike Israel, I will not be participating in the Great Tribulation. ;)

Think again, Peter was writing to the Jews in his letters. read the very first verse in 1 Peter
So the gospel was only meant for Jews, not for anybody else?

Because in 1 Peter 1 we read this:

[10] Of which salvation the prophets have inquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: [11] Searching what...the Spirit of Christ...did signify, when it testified before hand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.

Here we have Salvation, Grace, and the glory.

Do the Jews have another Salvation, grace, and glory that the Gentiles don't have?

This notion of determining what books were written to Christians or Jews is foolish.

Ultimately none of the Bible was written to anyone outside of those times if you want to play these foolish games with the Bible.

We were included only after Israel reject their gospel. Read Romans 11.

Just to make sure I looked at the Greek meaning of the word elect – eklektos is, picked out, chosen by God, to obtain salvation through Christ, Christians are called “chosen or elect” from God. ;)

So, let me gets this straight.

If the Jews had ACCEPTED Jesus as their promised earthly Messiah (even though Jesus said his kingdom was not of this world), then the glorious gospel of Christ would have never come to be? No death, no burial, no eternal life?

This was never a possibility. The Old Testament prophecies are clear. Christ's purpose was to die on the cross for MANKIND, period!

True, Jesus had to die on the cross for all mankind, but remember, Israel was given a second chance after Jesus rose again and commission the 12 to preach to Israel again, which they did in early Acts.

But Israel rejected the Holy Spirit by stoning Stephen. That was how we Gentiles got saved. As Romans 11:25-3 clearly stated

25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father's sakes.

29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

30 For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:

If only Paul had written just one sentence that stated:

Be sure to use ONLY MY LETTERS for doctrine and ignore everyone else's

Then Dispensationalism would be valid.

But this scripture does not exist.

The OSAS topic is really interesting and I enjoy reading about different viewpoints on CC. I do believe that we can be turned away from God’s Kingdom even after we chose to serve Him.

The Bible teaches us that when we accept Jesus (our groom) we enter covenant with Him. In a Hebrew wedding when the bride accepted the groom’s proposal, the groom left to prepare the place where they will get married. Usually not longer than 2 years. Jesus left us to prepare a place and will return to get his bride (giving humanity more or less 2000 years). The Bible teaches us about the 10 virgins and it is clear to see that even those that were busy preparing themselves but were not ready will stay behind. Is that the definition of salvation lost? Of course not.

The interesting thing is that the groom, while preparing this chuppah (wedding chamber) left behind a witness. This witness/friend would make sure the bride was without spot or blemish and when the groom returned to take his bride if she was unfaithful the witness would testify against her (Holy Spirit).

The Bible teaches us that we are a royal priesthood, thus if we look at the royal priesthood we can look what God did to the priests in the Old Testament. The sons of Aaron were destroyed because Nadab and Abihu tried to ignite the brazen altar with strange fire. I never knew that God himself ignited that fire. These two priests tried to ignite the altar with manmade fire and were killed for doing it. God does not allow strange fire in His throne room and if we accept strange fire (different religions etc) God will spit us out because we are lukewarm. Not hot nor cold.

This also opened my eyes about Elijah’s boldness. It was nothing strange for the OT priests to expect God to light a fire and Elijah knew our Father’s works.

I hope this blessed you and let’s keep fighting the good fight.
God bless friends

Choosing to Serve Him is Not Quite BORN AGAIN. ONLY those who are Truly Born Again, will be those who are Invited to the Wedding of the LAMB.

These Chose to Serve HIM, but never bothered to be BORN AGAIN.

Matthew 7:20-23 (NKJV)
20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
21 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
22 Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?'
23 And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'

That expression, is the LOVING, Intimate fellowship of when We were Immersed (baptized) into the Spiritual Body of Christ, and HE is in YOU.

1 Corinthians 12:13 (NKJV)
13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body--
whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free--and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.

1 Corinthians 2:16 (NKJV)
16 For "who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?" But we have the mind of Christ.

And These chose to Serve Him as Virgins, but NEVER bothered to be Born Again:

Matthew 25:1-13 (NKJV)
1 "Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.
2 Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3 Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them,
4 but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
5 But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.
6 And at midnight a cry was heard: 'Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!'
7 Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps.
8 And the foolish said to the wise, 'Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.'
9 But the wise answered, saying, 'No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.'
10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.
11 Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, 'Lord, Lord, open to us!'
12 But he answered and said, 'Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.' {Again, a reference to that Inter Personal Love relationship with HIM, the sign that you have been Born Again.}
13 Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.

John 3:3-7 (NKJV)
3 Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
4 Nicodemus said to Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?"
5 Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.'

In the Parable of the Gates, in Mat. 7. Many who think they have chosen to Serve Him, are on the Broad ROAD, that leads to the Destruction of Hades/Hell. It says ONLY A FEW FIND THE ROAD TO ETERNAL LIFE, the NARROW GATE. Most who THINK you can forfeit or lose SALVATION, do not even realize they are counting BOTH ROADS, the Wide Gate and the Narrow Gate, as those who Chose to Serve Him AND erroneously think BOTH ROADS equals SALVATION. NO, only the Narrow GATE that only a Few FIND, are TRULY BORN AGAIN.

That makes your statement above, a false teaching, because TRULY BORN AGAIN CHRISTIANS WILL NOT WALK AWAY, or WILL NOT BE TURNED AWAY. The rest, NEVER WERE BORN AGAIN.

1 John 2:19 (NKJV)
19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.

Here's the key.

Romans 11:23
IF they abide not STILL in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again.

And they are not all Israel that are of Israel (Romans 9:6).

Dispensationalism says they ARE all Israel that are of Israel; contrary to scripture.

Like I said I am learning today.

My Bible is getting thinner and all the ones serving God is anti-Christ.

Mat 6:24 No man can
serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Think I disagree with on this one VCO :)

But this scripture does not exist.
Paul used the word dispensation and linked it to the mystery, its just that people like you refuse to understand it, in Ephesians 3

For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,

2 If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:

3 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,

4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)

5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

Paul keep distinguishing between Jews and Gentiles, and he calls himself the Apostle to the Gentiles many times throughout Romans-Philemon.

Its all there, but because churches love to preach from the 4 Gospels, many don't wish to emphasize on those passages.

I learned this morning, not only can I exclude the OT but also Peter. I am waiting for a full list but my Bible is getting thinner by the minute. After Covid I will also need a crash diet like this....
If you are a Gentile who is in the body of Christ, Paul is your apostle.

Peter never called himself the apostle to the Gentiles. 1 Peter is directed to the Jews who believed. It will take time to accept this if you are only hearing this for the first time.
