The only reason more people esp. older people elsewhere are not dying yet is because they have not been infected, at this rate more and more people will get infected since it spreads easily. Plus we know a lot of people are unhealthy and have unhealthy habits, they are more at risk.

This is correct. The creator of the test actually said it was never meant to be used for diagnosing disease. The test is actually checking for exosomes, which are excretions of poisoned cells. So if you get some lung condition (e.g. cold, flu, lung cancer), you *will* be able to test positive for COVID-19.

At this rate basically everyone will lose a loved one or have them hospitalized at some point. I pray I am wrong.

Non official reports cite China having up to 75 000 dead, with crematoriums running 24/7.

They were bolting people in their apartments....this is a fact. Sounds like panic to me.

Some reports are stating that the prior SARS outbreak a couple decades prior actually compromised their immune systems to this virus.
Also interesting is there is a small number of people that are still testing positive even after recovering, keeping a low grade fever.
This is no typical virus.

Ten days from now, if the new case numbers do not start to spike, it is safe to begin opening the economy there. If not, it's time to rethink how and when we reopen.

One other number that we need to pay close attention to everywhere, is the hospitalization rate. The criteria for counting new cases is changing. This will result in a sharp uptick in new cases. It is designed to push the hospitalization rate down. Be careful. Don't use yesterdays data when looking forward. The curves will not be the same.

Let's also take a look at the antibody test trial's results. It should give us a much better handle on the total number of cases. I believe that we may see that the totals are much (by an order of 10 or more) than we are reporting. Let's see.
