This is a false doctrine necessary for Dispensationalists to turn Jesus into the Antichrist. Stick with scripture and you will see the difference.
I agree. Your insisting that Jesus was crucified in the middle of the 70th week is a false doctrine.

Dispensationalists do not turn Jesus into the antichrist. You do, in thinking that Jesus somewhere initiated a one week (seven year) covenant with Israel. That is not biblical.

What happened in the middle of the 70th week? Jesus put an end to animal sacrifices by the sacrifice of himself. Start there, scripture directly supports it. Nothing supports a gap or an Antichrist doing this at that time. Use scripture to prove your point.

The 70th week is still future. What will happen in the middle of the 70th week is that the antichrist will break the seven year covenant he will set up with Israel.

Jesus put an end to animal sacrifices by the sacrifice of himself.
True for us now, but sacrifices will return in the future.

You do not accept scripture except for your incorrect understanding of it.

Where does scripture say this? It's a sin to add to God's word.

Ezekiel 42:13 and many other verses talk about sacrifices in the millennial Temple.

Since you 1) do not believe in the millennial kingdom, and 2) do not believe the Temple described in Ezekiel will be built, you will not agree.

Jesus defined the Kingdom as spiritual only. This means all the kingdom prophecies are symbols of the present and future kingdom.

That's not true.

When you start with a false premise, your conclusions will be false.
Why did the Pharisees reject Jesus? They expected a physical kingdom to arrive at the time of the Roman empire. It didn't. It was a spiritual kingdom only the born again could see. This is why they still look for their Millennium. And many believe them over Jesus too, expecting a physical Millennium.

Why did the Pharisees reject Jesus?
They did not believe he was the Messiah. They thought he was blaspheming by claiming to be him.

The kingdom is coming, after the tribulation and Armageddon. Wait and see. You will see Jesus ruling the world from Jerusalem.

Why? because he proved the kingdom is spiritual only and they expected a physical kingdom. We should not think like them and also reject Jesus.

The kingdom is coming. It has been postponed because of this current administration of grace.

We should not think like them and also reject Jesus.
One day you'll be in the kingdom, and will see Jesus ruling from Jerusalem, and will see the Temple described by Ezekiel.

This ultimately leads to a total rejection of Christ. By a return to animal sacrifices in a Judaistic setting in a "third Temple". Most don't know they've already rejected him by embracing this doctrine.

You are saying a gap replaces everything from the time of Jesus' baptism, including his crucifixion, until after Stephen's death. And I have a problem?
That's what a gap does if you are consistent in your thinking.

You do not understand that Jesus was crucified at the end of the 69th week, and not in the middle of the 70th.

Not according to what took place in the middle of the 70th week where he fulfilled what was written of him.

See , this is why I asked if you are dense and why you are a waste of time. I have never stated in any post that there is a gap. Does the post you quoted mention a gap.? Nooooo

You truly are dense.

Insults reveal and empty hand. So why are you commenting in a thread about a gap?

Like I said dense - I told you there is no gap and that you were in error about the 70 weeks ending with Stephen's death. This was my first post in the thread:

No it does not, this is an arbitrary "theological" invention of Amillies. Stephen's death has nothing to do with the 70 weeks.

The 70 weeks ended with the "determination" on the city it's destruction in 70 AD at the hands of the Roman Armies:

(Dan 9:24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy)

It doesn't say 70 weeks are determined on Stephen.[

Did Jesus fulfill all Daniel said he would fulfill? Yes. So start with his causing the sacrifice to cease with the sacrifice of himself. This happens in the middle of the 70th week. And then do the math. It's all there. Did Daniel ever mention Antichrist? Why the change of topic when you say Jesus is Antichrist? Why do you reject Jesus and his work on the cross and reclaim Judaism, calling for a third temple that replaces his blood on the cross with animal sacrifices? Do you think you can do this and not deny Christ?

Not yet.

You will never understand as long as you think Jesus was crucified in the middle of the 70th week.

Not by that name, but he is mentioned.

Why the change of topic when you say Jesus is Antichrist?
NOBODY except you is saying Jesus is antichrist.

Why do you reject Jesus and his work on the cross and reclaim Judaism, calling for a third temple that replaces his blood on the cross with animal sacrifices? Do you think you can do this and not deny Christ?
Another strawman. Stop it.
