But, we have a flu shot for that. We don't have a "shot" for coronarvirus which mean, it will return seasonally. So we really do have to get a vaccine for it. The 1918 Flu killed millions of people. We don’t have a “flu” vaccine. We have a series of vaccines, NONE of which are near completely effective. People frequently have terrible side effects INCLUDING actually getting the flu from the shot.

It ONLY EFFECTS a certain strain.

They seem to work pretty well at preventing the flu for many people or you would see a pandemic. Nothing is 100%. Getting the flu from the shot is RARE.

You missed the point of the quote. We do think we are right, BUT we need to be astute enough to realize that we might be wrong. It is a lesson for all of us.

It would be nice if we could all be a bit more like Jesus. Imagine Jesus saying "yes, well, reality check, people are dying anyway'. No, He would do all he could to help others.
The Eight Beatitudes comes to mind. I have never seen talk about Jesus's LIFE. I would come here much more often if we could talk about that.

Because I think a virus has to be dealt with I believe government? My undergraduate degree is in International Relations I think I know better than that.
However, this black - white approach that this a hoax virus, that does not really exist, and people are not really dying, and it is all a false flag is really just out there.

If the virus is real it has to be dealt with .. unless you support herd immunity which is a goal I suppose albeit a risky one with an unknown virus from a country that is not very honest.

This is a novel virus. Doctors/Epidemiologist/Virologists did not know what they were dealing with, especially with it originating in China where the death toll was much, much higher than was reported.
This virus is a problem. It has some very strange features and it is not done yet, it could reinfect in which case we are in real trouble, but we simply do not know.
We have no idea how long immunity lasts as well.

Yes what is wrong? ... They need a scapegoat so they blame his advisers.
So ironic that the mitigation and containment is working and yet they complain.

Thank YOU, sincerely for the reality check. Yes, I have read some of the studies myself. I hope that people do get permanent immunity once getting it, or it will be h** till we get a vaccine, which they say is 12-18 months, conservatively. So, I pray for 1) containment 2) immunity 3) a vaccine/whatever it takes to stop all of this.
I think what works against me is having gone to school where I was taught critical thinking. Also, I just tend to trust until/unless someone/something proves otherwise.
