That is not what he is claiming. The reason you cannot see what he is stating is because you are blinded. No one who has accepted Christ believes we need a physical Temple since we know we are the Temple. How do you think when 2 or more are gathered in Jesus Name He is there in the midst? All because we as Believers are the Temple and where we go so does God.
But for the Jews in Israel who "still" reject Jesus and follow the "Law," they want the Temple rebuilt and will rebuild the Temple. It is this Temple that Jesus and Paul spoke about where the Antichrist will stop "Daily Sacrifice" and "SIT" down pretending and claiming he is the "Messiah."
Why you are not able to connect these simple dots, that are not only scriptural but of "common sense" is more than enough proof of your heresy!

Its already built the unbelieving Jew used it to reveal unbelief in mankind . They have a portion of the wall that they can use as a idol image or channel to cry out to.

The Son of Man Jesus hated the idea of the abomination of desolation the temple that stood .When he stepped out of it in Mathew 24 for the last time. It must of been a relief that the father sent down fire making it desolate when he did walk out as a living parable, saying as he departed Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. . God does not live in houses built with the corrupted hands of men .The disciples wanted to bring him back in. Like, did you have your eyes closed? He refused and entered the high mountain representing all the kingdoms of the world.

According to my research Haggie 2:6-9 is talking about the temple spoken of in the last 8 chapters of book of Eze. Which is supposed to be the Millennial Temple. Which will not be built until after Satan is bound with a chain and cast into the bottomless pit for a thousand years. Hasn't got anything to do with the temple that the antichrist will sit in.
HAVE YOU NOTICED, IF THEIR POINT MAKES NO SENSE, AND YOU CLEARLY POINT THAT OUT WITH SCRIPTURE; THEN THEY WILL LIE ABOUT WHAT YOU SAID, SO THEY DO NOT HAVE TO ADMIT THEY WERE WRONG IN THE FIRST PLACE. IT IS LIKE THEY THINK THE END JUSTIFIES THE MEANS.
I meant to get back to you with an aerial photo of the TEMPLE SITE in the City of David's OPHEL, to prove they were not already building the TEMPLE. I had a hard time finding it that is NEW ENOUGH to validate it was not under construction SECRETLY. Every still photo was too old. That Southeast corner TOWER was Taller to have a LOOK OUT for an uprising in the TEMPLE courtyards. See the three tunnels going under Fortress Antonia, on the lower level. I figured out what they were FOR. That was their Stable for HORSES.
See that Southeast Corner Wall of Jerusalem, which would have been approximately where Fortress Antonia walls were in JESUS Day. So the tip of that Red Arrow, would have been approximately where the Southeast Corner of the TEMPLE was. ONLY do not forget Prince Simon Severely LOWERED that HILL of Mount Zion in his ROCK QUARRY, in 132 A.D.; because the ROMANS defiled the Bed Rock by building a TEMPLE TO JUPITER, on the site where they tour down the Jewish TEMPLE to GOD.
According to JOSEPHUS, that was 600 Feet from Fortress Antonia to the Center of the Temple, which was called the Eastern Gate. So below, the Court of the Gentiles is way too small, and the eastern Gate, was Centered with the TEMPLE. Josephus said when all the gates were open and he was in the Eastern Gate, he could see the curtain of the Holy of Holies.

The Pharisees missed the kingdom that came in the time of the Roman Empire according to Daniel. They thought it was physical, as many do today. But it was spiritual. Only the born-again can see it. If you are born-again, you have what it takes to see it. But possibly you fell into millennialism which the early church condemned as heresy in 431 at Ephesus.
