So many anti charismatic smear jobs allowed?

You joined here on Sunday. It's Tuesday. And you've arrived at that judgment in just a few hours over the span of a couple of days? Me thinks not.
 
Has anyone actually read how Saul became Paul?
the Spirit of God literally drops Saul to the ground and during this time speaks to Saul.

3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:

4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?

5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: [it is] hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord [said] unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

7 And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.

8 And Saul arose from the earth;

That is being "Slain in the Spirit" Biblically!

This is kinda what the op was talking about. The preacher you mentioned.. heard him repent a few times. Not sure what that does not get "mentioned".

My real reason is "slain in the spirit". What happen when Jesus said as they were about to get Him "I am He"? As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground. In my 20's... lol.. was not a nice kid. At work I over heard my mom talking about this.. people falling backwards to the ground. I asked can I go. So that Friday night. Glad tidings Church (wow can't believe I remember that name lol).

So after some times the man that was speaking that night said "is there anyone here that wants to experience the power of God come up here. Well duh sure.. if Hes real. So there were ALLOT of people up there. I was not standing on the stage and people were like 6' or so away from me. He had his back to me. He was praying for someone else. He turns around puts on finger on my forehead and said "in Jesus name.... when I open my eyes I was lying on my back on the ground. NO CLUE how I got there nor how long I had been there. I started to get up something shot into my feet right into my chest and... oh PRAISE GOD! WOW! Never in my life had that happen. It was so wonderful so awesome.. praise GOD GLORY TO JESUS!

It was so wonderful I TRIED to go back up 3 times lol. Yet .. just happened the once. This preacher.. 1st time I had ever saw him. The second was in another story I share where at this other Church out side of Spokane Wa. I was in the back with a friend. I saw a woman up front screaming shouting.. crying. He said in JESUS name...and that woman? NEW EYES!

Yes today many just fall .. I think they believe its what you have to do. It is real... Jesus is alive. But to those that doubt this stuff "Charismatic".. you have nothing in the world to fear. You will never see it. For He will never go against your will.

How about another story. Since I always believe His word..all the gifts.. you name it. I was going to a school in Oklahoma. I Lived in Spokane and had this thought before I left to say good bye to a old friend. Well she just happen to know 2 others going to the same state. Wow.. what are the odds. Well just as we got in to Oklahoma the driver said she knew someone that went to Oral Roberts Univ but had no idea where it was. See I was going blind.. all by faith. Didn't know anyone.. no place to stay no work. Anywat as we were talking about this the car behind us ..the guy kept pointing up.

We thought it strange.. but she pulled over to this info stand and that guy pulled up...gets out walks over says "didnt you see me pointing up?" We said yes. He said and I quote "God told me you didn't know how to get to Oral Roberts Univ and I am to show you the way" <---YEAH really happened exactly like that. Stayed with her friend at Oru. That was the 1st time I had ever heard people talk in tongues. I never knew that school did that. He knew someone I could stay with. I went to look for a job the 1st day.. got one the 1st day.. working at night just down from the school fulltime at night.

This is just one I have so many. I am no one... I love Baptist preachers.. I love word of faith preachers. Were all human. But... I LOVE THEM... I don't expect them to preach act the way I personally believe. And I follow the WORD. I mean I believe it. And the things that ALWAYS keep happening to me.. WHY? I am no one.. I believe His word.. I DONT DOUBT. I don't let man tell me what God really said. I ask.. I listen.. but..

True? Want to know how great a man of God is? Ask about his prayer life. Sorry not here to offend. You love Jesus? your family.. don't believe in the gifts? praise GOD! Love you.. its JESUS..

I spent my first day reading threads. As an ex biker, I learned to understand first what it is I am getting myself involed with before saying or doing something.

He was standing and was trying to continue standing but ended up on the Ground from God's Amazing Power.

You should know your Scriptures better than this. Or better yet, stop listening to those who are even greater in their ignorance towards God's Holy Word.

I knew something wasn't right. An ex-biker on a discussion forum? I'm thinking no one in the Thunder Guard would do that. Nor the Hell's Angels. Definitely not the Pagans, the Detroit Highwaymen, Warlocks, Outlaws. Or any of the other biker clubs I know. And there it is, the answer is, BMX!

I seem to recall the temple guards that came to arrest Yeshua/Jesus in the garden fell backwards when Yeshua/Jesus said, “I am He.” :unsure:

They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them. As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground.
