In light of the growing crackdown on public gatherings, what are your celebration plans this weekend?

Our church has been holding outdoor services for the past three weeks. We have incorporated social distancing in our seating arrangements, and most of our senior citizens remain in their cars. I have noticed several other churches in the area doing the same. We usually have a big special resurrection celebration including lunch on the grounds. Given the current situations, I'm not sure what type of celebration we will have.

We always have a family gathering at our home. Our daughter, grandson, great grandson are all on a mandatory stay in place because my grandson just returned from working in Louisiana. One son is in GA isolation, and other grand children are in the same circumstances around the country. We have decided to have a family gathering online. I'm not sure how that will work out. We'll let God be the guide.

I hope and pray that we will be able to get together for the 4 of July for a big celebration.

Thank you so much for caring about others. It is hard being apart from family. I miss mine terribly. You are not only caring for your community but by doing everything you can to not get ill, you also protect the health care workers who are exposed to everyone who didn't socially isolate (Yes I know that even when we do our best we can still get ill but some are deliberately flouting the cautions). Thank you.
