If we're not in God's grace, then where does that leave us?
What do you mean? I said "for years". I joined the SDA church back in '06 after having been a Baptist all my life. What about you?More funny...
Again avoiding the question!

I agree..but what happens if the person never recovers? I see that as burning out his conscience, quenching the spirit, committing the Unpardonable Sin, grieving away the Holy Spirit...how can the destiny of such a man be anything other the the Lake of Fire, unless we involuntarily force ourselves to exclude it?A place from which need to recover ASAP ..........so the we can continue to live under the law of liberty, being under grace, rather than law.
You should be working on ya spiritual muscles "darlin" View attachment 214080
What's with the "darlin"... Okay adding that too my signature... at least it is something positive.
I think we are all getting a little punchy!!
C'mon, darlin . .
grieving away the Holy Spirit.
We don't emphasize the law moreso than need be, nor elevate it to the wrong place. We teach the simple Biblical axiom that we're saved by grace, but judged by works because the kind of works manifested prove whether we're saved by grace.Well that is too bad... people tend to gravitate towards law keeping ... grace the narrow path much harder to find.

When you think about it, in Jesus' day the people crucified Jesus and exalted the law, and today, many crucify the law and exalt Jesus. The devil is happy with the one or the other extreme.
not loosing salvation.
How many times I have I stated this today... God is a loving Father who will chasten His children.
Sure! "For we must all stand before the judgment seat of Christ".Who is judging?
God?
Perxactly.
(Heb 12:11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby)
(Heb 12:12 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees)
(Heb 12:8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons)
Sure! "For we must all stand before the judgment seat of Christ".
Good thing he's both our Judge AND our Advocate. Can you imagine walking into a courtroom all nervous about the case, only to discover your attorney is also the judge? No way you can lose the case!!
Are you serious??
God needs no proof..
I am never going to get out of here today!! Sigh
