Is universalisim the opposite of Calvinism?

I always felt Calvinism was on one end and Armenisim (not sure on proper spelling) was on the other. If that's the case where would universalisim fall? Not saying I believe in universalisim just wondering where it stands as I'm in the middle of Cal and Arm

Universalism is outside the scope of Bible truth. It claims that everyone will be saved regards of whether or not they obey the Gospel. In one sense it could be the opposite of Calvinism, which says that only the so-called elect will be saved. Neither of these positions is biblical. If you want the biblical position, then give heed to the words of Christ (John 3:16-18):

ALL MAY BE SAVED [REFUTES CALVINISM]
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

ALL SHOULD BE SAVED [GOD'S DESIRE FOR MANKIND]
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

ALL WILL NOT BE SAVED [REFUTES UNIVERSALISM]
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Ah, yeah that makes sense. I feel there are far too many bible verses that oppose Universalism. I just wondered where it would be if it was measured with two other schools of popular theism

No.. universalism is just another false doctrine.. as calvinism is a false doctrine.. They are not opposites..
