Right. He that doeth righteous is righteous EVEN AS HE IS RIGHTEOUS. He that sins is of the devil. My hope is in Jesus as BOTH my Savior from sin AND Lord to be obeyed. The hope of OSAS is that one can hold onto Jesus and sin.

However, a man who claims that he loves his wife while actively cheating on her and doing NOTHING to get help to stop only serves to prove that he is a liar, right or wrong?
The Law, God's Word is in the heart, Mind and mouth through Christ. We are a new creation in Christ Jesus. If we are not living according to the change that He has done in us we are denying Christ and are not saved anymore. You sure made it sound like the Galatians lost their salvation in these posts below.
A "professing" believer "permanently" going back to the law for justification would prove that their faith was never firmly rooted and established from the start, yet genuine believers (especially babes in Christ who are Jewish) can get sidetracked by legalistic teachers and temporarily stumble. Those who end up not being glorified in the end were never justified. (Romans 8:30)
It sounds like you are back peddling from your other two posts, but at least you admit now that it wasn't a done deal that they lost their salvation. If they are truly born again, then God will preserve them (Psalm 37:28; Jude 1:1) and their faith will ultimately not fail. The apostle Peter "fell away" at the time of Jesus' arrest and denied Christ 3 times, but his faith did not fail. Philippians 1:6 - being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.
No one should live in constant fear of being abandoned by Him, for He said "I will never leave you nor forsake you".
Nothing unless it was done through Christ, through His Spirit in His Love. But when he stops cheating and mends the relations with his wife,
proves what?
Amen! 1 John 3:9 - No one who is born of God practices sin.. (NASB) The idea of "practice" is to perform repeatedly and habitually, as one's lifestyle or bent of life with no goal or effort to stop. No repentance, just bring on the sin.have a look at the tense of the Greek verb in this verse.
it is expressing an ongoing, continuous action. it is the difference between having an occasional drink and being a drunkard ((right thread?)).
if i had to guess, this particular dyad of verses has been addressed on at least 100 separate occasions in this thread. the Bible does not oppose itself.
If we are not living according to the change that He has done in us we are denying Christ
Believers are new creations in Christ and if we claim to be saved, yet there is no change in us at all according to what Christ does in us, then we are not saved to begin with and never were. The Law, God's Word is in the heart, Mind and mouth through Christ. We are a new creation in Christ Jesus. If we are not living according to the change that He has done in us we are denying Christ and are not saved anymore.
Philippians 1:6 - being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.likewise we deny Him if we say He has not begun a work in us, and likewise we blaspheme Him if we say He will not be faithful to complete that work.
I have a question:If we are not living according to the the change that He has done in us we are denying Christ and are not saved anymore.
Though He constantly calls to us through His love. It is to no avail if one likes the briers, being lost, Wallowing in the mire, enjoying their vomit.yes
and can you flee or lose your way where He cannot find you?
is it possible that you, little lamb, can be so tangled in a briar that He can't free you?
what does He do when one of His sheep is lost or wandered off?
That's not the question.Nothing unless it was done through Christ, through His Spirit in His Love.

They repented and so must we. If we die in our sins or sin we are lost.Hi!
I have a question:
Moses, King David, King Solomon, Paul, Peter (just to name a few)
Some of these men were called a friend of God, one is even called the apple of His eye.
Some of these men spoke face to face with God.
In their lifetime They all failed in some area and not only once, and not just an oops.
What differentiate you/us from these Patriarchs?
I see you still think your intellect and wit is going to get you somewhere in understanding things of God. Let's let His Spirit guide us and leave all that behind, shall we.i see you are a big fan of specks & planks?
let me introduce you to a Carpenter...

You said, "proves what".That's not the question.
Despise, vanity and hatred? How pompous.is it the Spirit in your heart that despises my words and slanders me, or is it your vanity and hatred?
Well that's a given.You said, "proves what".
In our own power whatever we do proves nothing unless it is through Christ in His loving Spirit.
