Yes, they were not really happy that I was considering the shorter course but completely understood why, and were relieved to find I went with their recommendation despite my initial concerns of exposure while needing to go out five days a week over a period of time that exceeds five weeks. Doing it this way will also shorten the amount of chemo I will receive following surgery also, but we are a ways away from all that at this point. Now that they know my decision the doctors can put in the requisition and it may be a couple of weeks before treatments start :)

How are you doing during this time of needing to keep our physical distance from others? Are you and your family all following the recommendations? Are you finding it difficult at all staying home? Have you been able to get he things you need when you go shopping, and have you got enough supplies that you need not go to the store so often? Stores are some of the worst places o be right now....

I wish in my flesh we could fast forward to after you have been treated and you are fully recovered, Lord willing.


Me, I am looking into getting a deferment on my mortgage as this thing is hitting me a bit economically. I am staying home except I do go to a sister in Christs home to help her because she is an essential and her kids need to stay home. Other than that I am doing ok. I have been blessed in the way that a few ppl helped me so that I could pay forward and help another without having to go grocery shopping again. Had they not helped me out, I couldn't have been in a position to help another. It was a God thing. My youngest daughter works at walgreens as a beauty consultant she is an esthetician. Anyway, she is really stressing about lots of things, her kids, her hubby not being able to work, ect... So yeah, all in all. I am ok. Thanks for asking.

Didn't see this until now. Why is it when you say old hag, i feel closer to you. It must be that us old hags have to stick together, lol.

Ya, whether is cooking or baking (once in a while I have been known to bake, but like you said can be dangerous when your single, lol) I love to experiment too. Sometimes though, I have been know to be adding this, and a little of that, just goin to town. The problem is, later, when it is discovered how awesome it is, then I'm left doing the Sherlock Holmes things going on, so I added about this much in of that...type of thing so I can remember for another time, lol. Yes, that is so true, or as @CharliRenee would say: BAM! :D Yeah, no recipe equals, um, what did I do? Trying to replicate it, well, if not totally possible then at least each one is unique :) As long as they are tasty, who can complain? :giggle:

It’s a fun word😁. Besides, now that I’m a grandmother of two, I have to start acting older😂.

Lol@BAM, bout sums it up huh? Guilty of cooking lean cuisines here. I cook some but me, myself and I like them LCs

I'm listening to this right now and you came to mind, actually, I think you were the one I first found this song through just before a storm hit my families life and it helped me get through ;)
