I think it's pretty obvious that this is the end, the time of Jacob's Trouble, and the "Great Tribulation." We are the generation that will live through this, and for many of us... die through it.

Let's use this thread to discuss and debate what we think will happen next, and how Christians should respond. This thread isn't about debating whether or not this is indeed the "Great Tribulation." This thread is instead for those who are already convinced that we have arrived. If you don't think we are in the "Great Tribulation," please go and post in another thread elsewhere.

I'll start with some thoughts that I have of what will happen. Please add yours!

Our governments are going to lock us in our homes, and force us to get used to having the government control all aspects of our lives. They will either deliver food to us, or they will have us go on certain days to get our "rations." Eventually they will introduce a financial system which requires getting a microchip embedded into your body, and that you cannot buy or sell without it. Social pressure will be used to keep people online. Brainwashed fools will immediately report anyone who doesn't fall in line with what our corrupt politicians expect from us; and sadly, the majority are brainwashed idiots who will be spending 16 hours per day watching the TV set.

Our politicians have to keep the lights on, so that they can keep sending their propaganda via TV and radio. They have to keep water flowing to keep the people in their homes. They need to keep the people pacified at all costs. They have to make this as comfortable as possible for people. Expect that everyone will get free access to Netflix, and to gaming servers, and to premium "adult" websites, etc.. They need to keep the people fed and distracted, lest they rise up and fight back.

Eventually the internet will be censored, so that only information from "official sources" will be available. The military will be on the streets eventually. There will be a lot of crime including home invasions, so be prepared to protect yourselves.

No, we are not living in the time of the great tribulation period, which is that last 3 1/2 years of that seven year period. Prior to the great tribulation, the seals must be opened and the trumpets sounded in that order. That said, we have not yet seen the first seal opened which represents the antichrist, the rider on the white horse. Nor have we seen the second seal rider on the red horse which is given power to take peace from the earth so that mankind kills each other. Nor have we seen the third seal rider on the black horse which is world wide famine.

These events are all apart of God's wrath which will be carried out via the seals, trumpets and bowl judgments, which believers in Christ are not appointed to suffer. And that because Jesus already experienced God's wrath on behalf of every believer. Therefore, the wrath of God no longer rests upon the believer. And because of this, the church must be removed prior to the plagues of God's wrath.

The great tribulation can be identified by the following:

"For at that time there will be great tribulation, unmatched from the beginning of the world until now, and never to be seen again. If those days had not been cut short, nobody would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, those days will be cut short."

The great tribulation begins with the setting up of the abomination which causes the desolation of Judea when Israel flees out into the wilderness to that place that will have been prepared for her by God where she will be cared for 1260 days, which is that last 3 1/2 years of the seven year period. As the scripture states, if those days (3 1/2 years) were allowed to go on any longer, there would be no one left alive on the earth and that because of the destruction and the resulting fatalities caused by the seals, trumpets and bowl judgments.

The Lord's promise was to go to the Father's house and prepare places for those who belong to Him. And that He was going to return to gather us and take us to those places which are in the Father's house. I Thess.4:13-17 is the detailed account of our being gathered. We will not be on the earth for any of the tribulation period, because it is specifically to fulfill prophecy regarding Israel and to punish the wicked Christ rejecting world. God does not punish the righteous with the wicked. And since God's wrath will come upon the entire world, then the church cannot be here.

When you see Rev.13:3 fulfilled that is when the great tribulation begins.

If you live in countries like France or Italy, then yes, you are already under martial law. If you live in North America, there is still a short amount of time left in most places.

The only thing that was "raptured" was the ability of the masses to think for themselves. The TV teaches them what to think, not how to think.

Our Protestant Ancestors believe that the Pope was Antichrist, and they believed that for over 1000 years. But perhaps there is another fulfillment. I'm not sure. But it's clear that the powers that be are using this "pandemic" in order to set up world government.

As I said in the previous post, based on what the Lord said regarding it being a time of great tribulation such as the world as never seen, from the beginning of the world, until now and never to be equaled again, it is pretty easy to conclude that we are not currently living in that great tribulation period. If we were, then it would conclude 3 1/2 years from now with the Lord returning to the earth to end the age. Not only that, but the seals, trumpets and bowl judgment would currently be in operation, which they are not.

The problem with the interpretations of many people, is that they only look at parts of the context and leave the rest unexplained.
When Jesus said that the great tribulation would be worse time in history that the world has ever seen, this would include the flood and any other events that have taken place throughout all of history. The other error is that they do not understand the severity and magnitude of God's coming wrath. There are only two places in Revelation which specify the percentage of fatalities during the tribulation period, which is the 4th seal where death and Hades are given power over a fourth of the earths population to kill by sword, famine, disease and the wild animals. The other is the 6th trumpet where a third of the earths population is killed. A fourth and a third combined, is well over half the earths population being killed and that within the first 3 1/2 years. That said, nothing like that is remotely happening. In addition and as I posted in the previous post, in order for us to be in the great tribulation period, the first seal would have to have been opened, as well as the rest of the seals and the trumpets. And can assure you, we have not experienced any of those. Many have a weak idea of God's coming wrath. By the time Jesus returns to the earth to end the age, the majority of the earths population will have been decimated and all human government dismantled.

The problem that I continue to encounter is that, I'm debating with people who have less study and therefore less information. They've adopted the false teachings of men and then they continue to reject the truth not matter what scriptural information is presented to them.

Your biggest problem is that you have deceived yourself into believing that you are 100% correct in your belief based on your years of study.
When people disagree with your private interpretation of Scripture, you immediately state that they have not studied as much as you have, have less information, and less understanding that you do.
You really are not as smart and your understanding is not as perfect as you believe.
You have accused others of adopting the false teaching of men when you are the one who has done so.

You are just wrong.

What movie are you talking about? There have been several with this theme. In my day, no web sites. movies about us getting bread and water...

In a matter of a 3-4 weeks, you will be locked in your home, with military personnel marching down your street, and drones flying over head to make sure you behave yourself. I'm sorry if your interpretation of the Bible doesn't match with what is happening in the world. It's very unfortunate.

Of course it is unfortunate. Do you think that the 100 + countries wanted this ?. The lesson that I learned from all of this is that we are all citizens of this world. What you are explaining is what happened two weeks ago in China. I think that was the right move. And it worked. Because of our late response to this, we are #1 on this list... Though you and I think this is all an over re-action. I'm going to listen to the scientists.
