Hi Dan, "praying without ceasing" is the scriptural direction to learn and practice it, Dr. Caroline Leaf teaches how we can actually think multiple things at the same time and she teaches how, it is a great time to be alive, never before in history have we had such fruitful, Godly teaching so easy to acquire. One of her videos is titled Worship in the Brain which mentions how as we worship together our heartbeats synchronize.

I try to prioritize listening to the things that actually matter first, then maybe move onto the less relevant topics last.
I give them the floor when they are talking, uninterrupted, without cutting in or adding opinions. I think its important to just let people vent sometimes or just express themselves freely. Then when its my turn to say something i might ask a question, or give an answer.
Listening isn't just about waiting for my turn to give a response. Sometimes i can keep an entire conversation on a person and ask them
how they plan to resolve their own problem that they are talking about. I usually do that to people who are holding me captive in a
conversation i didn't really want to be a part of though. Particularly those who create drama or those who never really seek solutions
for their problems who only want an audience.

Well, I respect that u allow peeps to vent, to share and that you genuinely care about peeps. It is so hard not to respond if they say a lot about different things cuz by the time they get finished my old mind doesn't remember it all, lol. I def try to listen and quiet my mind so I focus on what they are saying. It for me, takes practice. I think the key is to genuinely care about them. Like i said though, somewhere else, monologue talkers
really test my listening skills.
