The difference between Christians and catholics:
1. Many catholics use rosaries and pray to Mary to intercede to Jesus on their behalf.
2. Many catholics have statues of Mary and light candles and pray to the statues.
3. Many catholics go to confession to seek absolution from a priest, instead of God.
Christians DO NOT pray to Mary. Christians DO NOT use rosaries. Christians don't go to confession and admit their sins to a priest and ask for absolution. Christians DO NOT have statues of Mary, nor do they light candles or build altars to her. Christians DO NOT pray to Mary and ask her to intercede on their behalf.
If catholics WERE Christians, they would not do any of the stuff mentioned up above.

Which is why I am trying to alert Christians that there is a massive blind spot in this area. As long as parts of the church are focused mainly on The Catholic Church as THE enemy they are missing the clear and present danger.
Rational discussion based on scripture is not possible when a lynch-mob mentality persists.

I'm sorry this is a sore spot for you. We have agreed on many other things. I am simply answering a post. Catholics are not Christian, they are Catholics, the universal church. They don't see as anyone outside the universal church as being saved. I'm not saying there won't be Catholics in heaven, but I am saying it is a false doctrine with serious errors. I encourage friends to come out of the Catholic church because of their serious doctrinal errors. No false claims made here.

Christians only call born-again Christians brothers and sisters. The Catholic Church has also alleged that the god of Islam (Allah) is the God of the Bible. Which is blatantly false. One just has to read the Koran to confirm this.
Pope Francis knows full well that *extremism* is not the real issue. It is Radical Islamist ideology which translates into terrorism, brutality and the slaughter of innocents, so that Islam can dominate the world and establish a Caliphate and Sharia Law. But that is what he has avoided saying.
So the Pope is not only a fake religionist (since his true religion is globalism and the New World Order, which includes migrant invasion, Climate Change hoaxing, and a number of related issues) but he is also a pretender, since he refuses to speak truth. He claims to be the Vicar of Christ while he follows the steps of an antichrist.
Furthermore, almost every time he opens his mouth publicly, he has to then clarify and justify what he has said. "Even atheists can go to heaven". "Who am I to judge?"

I think you are sincere and in a protestant church , he doesn't have to be perfect but if a preacher messes up you can/should kick him out or leave and go to the next church ..
Also a protestant preacher can lose his authority , he can still be a Christian but according to 1 Tim 3 he disqualifies himself from being preacher or authority .. It's not too much to expect imo
