That's exactly what the osas church does.
They say, "I am safe because I'm the temple of the Lord, I'm the temple of the Lord".

Now reread that passage with that in mind. They trust in deceptive words if they think being the temple of the Lord makes them safe--safe to hate and murder in the name of correctness of doctrine.
Seems you have come back with a vengeance... you know all sin was dealt with at the cross, somehow you keep missing that.

And you keep twisting grace, being under grace and that fact that grace abounds.

Christ came to take you out of the dirt and cleanse you. Not so that you could freely wallow in the dirt again and be proud of it.

Who is this directed at?

Who is wallowing in the dirt, and proud of it?

Who is suggesting someone who is "wallowing in the dirt" ought to be proud of it?

No one I've seen in this thread in all 6500+ pages has ever implied such a thing.

Do you think condemning believers is acceptable behavior? What does that show about you?
Do you notice how this is common occurrence on this thread, I have lost count, .... how people unravel that is.

When their pet doctrine, "conditional security" is destroyed they become very belligerent and highly emotionally charged.

EPHESIANS 4:
[21] If so be that you have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: [22] That you put off concerning the former lifestyle the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts...[26] Be ye angry, and sin not...[29] Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth...[5:5] For this you know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man...hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. [6] Let no man deceive you with vain words...

Christ came to take you out of the dirt and cleanse you. Not so that you could freely wallow in the dirt again and be proud of it.
Who said anything about wallowing in the dirt and being proud of it? These types of strawman arguments are continuously being presented by those in the NOSAS camp.

The majority of this thread is filled with those who quickly rain down proud judgment on anyone who would even quote a scripture that tells us to not sin. Followed by false accusations. And the twisting of scripture here is appalling.

I apologize if my post seemed directed at you or implied anything beyond what was written. I mean, is this what Christianity is? To proclaim that we all still sin regardless of the countless scriptures that exhort us not to sin?

Yes and proclaiming that one can be "sinless" which is contradictory to scripture ... ... now that is acceptable.

If you have an impure thought, you sin. If a swear word pops out of your mouth, you sin. If you flip a bad driver the bird, you sin. We are NOT perfect, we DO still sin. All God requires of us is to TRY and be perfect as He was..

This here is an accusation without substance.

Please show where someone has QUICKLY "rained down" proud JUDGEMENT for someone only posting scripture and not for added beliefs and disagreements in regards to what is being said.

Judges, someone you have agreed with has done these very things.

Strange.

Oh no. I never implied I thought what you said was directed at me. I see no one it could apply to. So I asked who it was directed at.

"Christ came to take you out of the dirt and cleanse you. Not so that you could freely wallow in the dirt again and be proud of it."

This applies to no one here.

When you say "To proclaim that we all still sin regardless of the countless scriptures that exhort us not to sin" This again... holds no weight having no example.

This thread is made to give glory to God who is our only Hope.

Jesus Christ is our savior and by His righteousness being imputed to us we can be seen as perfect.

Not by works of righteousness which we do will we be justified, but by the white covering of Jesus we will be seen as perfect even as He is perfect.

Not one blemish.

Oh, please!

You believe a false doctrine like most everyone else here does. I don’t expect you to even attempt to extend even the smallest hint of the love of Christ. You guys and gals are soo stuck on imputation of righteousness that you don’t even have a clue of how to even DEMONSTRATE it!

There is a difference between one who proclaims it's ok to sin regardless as opposed to one who wants to sin less.

Truth is genuine believers will sin, doesn't mean they won't.
If we could be sinless then Jesus would not have to intercede for us?
Why would John tell us to confess our with?

Do you no longer sin?

This is the first we've spoke and all I have seen from you is false accusations without substance.

Not one fruitful statement have you made...😅

You came to a thread of people who love Jesus and trust in Him.... then tell others to demonstrate love as you falsely accuse them?

Well I am showing love.

Love is wanting the best for someone to the point of self sacrifice as Jesus showed us.

For you I will gladly sacrifice my time or energy to shine light on the truth for you.

You however when questioned pile up accusations then when asked to show proof you make more against the person trying to help....🤦‍♂️

Hope God opens your eyes and you stop pointing that finger around....

I said what the scriptures say. If you stand condemned by that, that's on you.
You and others here are very deep in unrighteous, evil, hateful, divisive behavior, and for all the knowledge you osas people brag about having you don't even know it. You do not yet 'know' as you ought to know.

Is this what it’s reduced to?

Even if I did, what does that got to do with all the “sin not” scriptures?

Does your ability to believe a biblical doctrine depend on wether someone else can accomplish it?
And you quote one line of my post and not even address the rest.

Where in my post to you did I suggest that a believer wants to sin not?

I did not.

I said a believer will not want to sin.

That is a habit of most false accusers.

Harder to make false accusations against whole statements.

"Is this what it’s reduced to?"

"Yes, when you delete the rest."
