So long distance dating is nothing new, but now it's way easier to talk to anyone across any barrier in an instant. Many people use online sites and apps now, but often will meet with people local for dates. How far would you say your "perimeter" would be?

I've dated online several times with people across different states, but it's always been really really hard. I kinda wanna date an Arizona guy...but part of me still has that romantic idea of like sending a bottle across the ocean XD

I am open to moving anywhere, and could pretty easy if I found the right lady, so I guess I am a little different than most in this respect.

I need to verify the financials first before I go anywhere. Once that is done, she can send a 90 foot yacht

Send her a PM and see how much ££$$ she is willing to spend.

For some reason a song keeps floating through my head...

"Give me a ticked for an aeroplane
Ain't got time to take a fast train"

Don't correct me on "aeroplane." The singer did NOT pronounce it "airplane" in the song.

As for the question... I have no idea. If I ever find a date I'll let you know how far away she lives.

You need a paid subscription in order to initiate private conversations with other members
(and you also get other forum and chat benefits).

This helps protect our system from abuse and also helps fund our site.

A ONE YEAR subscription is only $24 (one time, not recurring), so that's only $2 per month.

A LIFETIME subscription is only $100 (one time, not recurring).

Once I get beyond an hour or so radius, dating is less about figuring out how to join our current two lives into one and more about figuring out who is going to pack up and leave their life to go join the other person's life. Just makes the relationship much higher stakes from the get go (though I guess there's much less chance of absolutely bumping into each other after a breakup if you've got hundreds of miles between you).

Oh well was worth a shot...
Ironically this made me think of another thread about being "fiscally responsible" in a relationship and if that's something that should be really considered ect ect ect.

nobody got not money here thats why we are single? cos we cant afford to get married? much less date.
That was the subject of my thread in the families forum! Is marriage expensive or just the wedding? well it was agreed that most weddings were expensive, but you could marry without a wedding and have a roof over your heads instead.
