Since you are saying that we still sin, contradicting this scripture,
Yes we still sin and we do not contradict this scripture, it is you however who does not understand what has written here.

There is only one sinless and that is Jesus Christ.

We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not (1 John 5:18).

The person born from above. born of God has the righteousness of Jesus imputed to them... and his righteousness lives within them via the holy spirit.... that part of the believer can never sin because Jesus was sinless.

No one here will ever believe you do not sin....... so you are only fooling yourself.

The Greek does not infer what the English seems to infer
When I refute your stance with plain scripture why do you jump into a field you are not qualified in? Am I to believe that people on a discussion board are better equipped than the countless translation committees that are experts in this field, who have translated the verse in question the very way I presented it, somehow these trained experts failed to translate 1 John 5:18 to properly show the “Greek tense”?

Seriously?

I am trying to be polite here, but what I hear from some of you here defies logic and common sense and reason. Not only does scripture refute your stance, but the fruit your stance is producing is obvious here and on display for all who have eyes to see.

Of course you have to be polite lest your sinlessness be tarnished.

And you are teaching a false doctrine of sinless perfectionism.

A complete absurdity, completely contradictory to scripture and obvious reality.

This is not scripture. Who taught you to speak these words? There is not scripture that says this.

The imputation of righteousness happens when a person first hears the gospel and believes it. This is not a continual imputation for those who would continue in sin. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

Awake to righteousness, and sin not. (1 Corinthians 15:34).

And you can freely be rude without restraint?

The show of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hid it not. Woe unto their soul! (Isaiah 3:9).

Am I a rude? ... I do not think so... I think I am exposing your false dogma but maybe you do not like that...understandable.

Well if you do not understand that the righteousness of Christ is imputed ONCE and it is NOT a continual imputation then you have yet to understand the Gospel, that is pretty clear and therefore you do not understand scripture.

Go back to square one if you can because your very soul depends on it.

Quote every scripture you would like, but if you do not understand it in context of the true Gospel of Christ Jesus of being born again once unto secure eternal life, you have understood very little.

Quote every scripture you would like,
Walk in the Spirit and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh (Galatians 5:16).

When lust hath conceived, it brings forth sin (James 1:15).

What have learned from these two verses? Walk in the spirit and you will not sin.

You need to understand the gospel using ALL scripture, not just part of them while dismissing others with vain words.

Yes all scripture.... and none of it contradicts, and you have a problem because John clearly states.

If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

"Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord:

But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord,I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts;and will be their God,and they shall be my people.

And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me,from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. "

Jeremiah 31:31-34( KJV )

"Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified."

There’s no contradiction here. If you read the entire context it is clear that this is referring to those who deny the need of Salvation claiming they have no sin to need it.

For:

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins...if we say we have not sinned we make him a liar. (1 John 1:9).

I have never stated that I am not in need of Salvation because I have no sin or have not sinned. Clearly the context here is not of someone who can say they have ceased from sin (1 Peter 4:1), but of the one who denies ever sinning to need a Savior.
I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts
And the purpose of this new covenant, of putting the law in our inward parts, was so that we could do by nature the things contained in the law, that we might not sin against it.

For when the gentiles, which have not the law, do BY NATURE the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: Which show the work of the law written in their hearts (Romans 2:14-15).

Listen carefully..... note we that John is including himself

"We” as well as using the present tense for “have.” John the apostle, older in years, still dealt with sin in his own life.

So ironic, that in denying the real presence of sin in our lives, is actually a way of deceiving oneself and reveals a lack of relationship with God (the truth is not in us)!

Christians still sin.

You evidently have not studied very hard. Most commentaries agree with me that John is not saying a man of God will be sinless. In fact if memory serves me right I have never read one that said this. I have only heard it from a few people like you who have passed this way before

so before you go off like you just did. some research would be very helpful for you

you are new here and you come in here all proud and demanding and you want to attack others? Not to mention puffing yourself and boasting how righteous you are like a Pharisee?

Your not getting off to a very good start my friend.

NO THAT IS REFERRING TO ALL SIN AND OMITTING TO DO WHAT IS RIGHT. You are either a liar, or too foolish to know better.

Ecclesiastes 7:20 (NKJV)
20 For there is not a just man on earth who does good And does not sin.

Romans 3:20 (NKJV)
20 Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

Romans 7:7 (HCSB)
7 What should we say then? Is the law sin? Absolutely not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin if it were not for the law. For example, I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, Do not covet.

1 Peter 2:13-17 (NKJV)
13 Therefore submit yourselves to every ordinance of man {Including the Speed Limit}
for the Lord's sake
, whether to the king as supreme,
14 or to governors, as to those who are sent by him for
the punishment of evildoers and for the praise of those who do good.
15 For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put
to silence the ignorance of foolish men--
16 as free, yet not using liberty as a cloak for vice, but as
bondservants of God.
17 Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.
{That would be President Donald Trump, if you are an American.}

Romans 3:12 (ESV)
12 All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one.”

You have crossed the line, NO ONE WILL LISTEN TO A THING YOU HAVE SAID. SO you May as well LIVE THIS SITE.

Your vain effort of trying to respond to my question on, How a Person is Born Again, showed almost a complete lack of understanding.

YOU WILL HAVE A RUDE AWAKENING WHEN CHRIST SAYS TO YOU, "I NEVER KNEW YOU."

You seem to be in a Psuedo Christian Cult of some kind.

One final question. How is your so-called Christian life DIFFERENT that THESE PEOPLE:

Revelation 2:5 (ESV)
5 Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent.

Matthew 7:20-23 (HCSB)
20 So you’ll recognize them by their fruit.
21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord!’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but ⌊only⌋ the one who does the will of My Father in heaven.
22 On that day many will say to Me, ‘Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in Your name, drive out demons in Your name, and do many miracles in Your name?’
23 Then I will announce to them,I never knew you! Depart from Me, you lawbreakers!’

The Mormons, along with every other sect of Christianity (I would run out of space to list them all here), read their Bibles WITH the leaven of their leader’s teaching. That’s why when they read the Bible it has no effect on them. Their leaders have made the word of God of none effect to them. I am not a Mormon. Neither do I follow man’s teaching on the things of God. I follow the scriptures alone.

I’m not sure why there’s a need to interrogate me. If you know the Bible you should know wether what I say is of God or not. I don’t need to know what country you’re from, or what sect you’re with to know wether or not you’re biblically sound.

Well the Bible says this as well:
We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not (1 John 5:18).

Since you are saying that we still sin, contradicting this scripture, this must mean you are not born of God and Satan touches you at his will. Further more you are not keeping yourself because you haven’t been properly indoctrinated to do so.
Where sin abounds, grace abounds all the more. Funny how that works. By the way, that’s Scripture, and you don’t want to discount Scripture.
