Yeah, I saw this moose grazing later. She was just tired and is a regular in the neighborhood. Yes, the moose did look around. It's very common for moose once they bed down to be reluctant to get up because they are warm and cozy from their body heat "nest.". They are used to human contact in urban areas, so this was a tamer moose. But they are always unpredictable.
