Hello. I would like your thoughts on whether personal faith in Jesus the only way to heaven. Whilst John 14:6 says 'I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me', Romans 1:20 says 'For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.' So what of those who don't put their faith in Christ but believe in God (possibly the wrong god). Ofc, Christ is God, but He differentiates himself from the Father. I hope I have made myself understood.
The Bible says that creation testifies of a God and of His attributes which one of them is love for He provided food, and the means to make clothing and shelter, so the world is without excuse, and testifies of the 2 greatest laws love God and love people which is what a Christian goes by in order to be saved.
Which love works no ill towards their neighbor, therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
And out of faith, hope, and charity, love in action, charity is the greatest.
And without love you are nothing, and have erred from the faith, and your faith is dead, and the love of God does not dwell in you.
So love is greater than faith, no love, no faith.
The Bible says that the people that have not heard the word of God the law is written in their heart, and their conscience also bearing witness.
We have to have faith in Jesus to be saved but God is a fair God and will not condemn those that have not heard the word of God.
Since creation testifies of a higher power and testifies of love God and love people then people can be saved if they abide by that for if they believed in a higher power who is love, and loves people, and they love this higher power and people, and did not offend them and asked God for forgiveness if anything is amiss they should be saved.
They cannot dwell with Jesus right now for they do not know Him, and do not know He is the Savior, but after the millennial reign of Christ when the dead rise to be judged they can join the saints then.
In the Old Testament before the Old Covenant was in affect there was people that were right with God when the word of God was not given yet to know of the coming Savior and the truth, which there was Enoch, Job, and Noah that were all righteous men that will be saved.
