we see things totally different
I see god created everything we see in 6 daysm if he can do that he can do anything I need or take care of any problem I have
in your view god is not as powerful. And maybe I should fear because it took him millions maybe billions of years to make earth readynfor
Man. He may not have time to take care of My problem

I think this verse says a lot about days and day, the verse says in the day that the Lord created not days and they where the generations I think those generations was not 1 24 day each but longer time frame generations days

Genesis 2:4
These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,

Stars supernova and new stars form in nebulas they have generations

God did not tell Moses to tell the children to work for 6 days and tell them to take the rest of their lives off they are done

He said take the seventh day off and do no work as he created all in 6 days and rested the 7th
That’s what you are proposing.

I don't agree that you can file the creation account of Genesis away into that category. It follows the Hebraic style for relaying an account and repeating the same story with more detail. I don't think this is a story the Hebrews were making up to tell their children. This is a record from the creator himself of HIS work.

When I walk the beautiful halls of the colleges of Cambridge University, I am reminded that modern Science began with men of faith. Like Isaac Newton. The same university in my lifetime produced an arrogant man with an atheist theory of "everything".
Much of secular science for the last 50 years has followed the political fashion of our time and deteriorated into atheistic "Scientism" rather than science. People who have rejected God have set the narrative. People who would build Babylon. They openly ridicule our God.
It's unwise to follow the blind into a pit because they have manipulated the world-view of secular education. The enemy is a liar and a clever one.

I didn't say it was a made up story. As evident in my post the scriptures often use the world to indicate the known world or the world to a individuals perspective.

Agree to disagree which is fine. God made himself evident within creation and it is a wonderful thing with each discovery proclaims the power and awesomeness of God.

I say this also quite a few bible translations have left out (in the day) all together, I think because it goes against the idea of the 24 hour each day creation

Man please ha. That's easy in my opinion. To be that meticulous and precise over a timescale that I cannot even comprehend is amazing. Plus a God that creates from nothing. The Big Bang theory is the best evidence outside of scripture for God. We can view the aftermath of light and radiation with a few seconds after creation. We know space, time, and matter came into existence at the same time. Automatically making the cause a spaceless, timeless, and immaterial being. We see the cooling affect within the radiation waves. We see the universe expanding which is also scripture. All of this also provides us with the knowledge that the universe had a beginning but is also dying. Everything has a lifespan. This is evident and this provides us with a image to show just how powerful Gof is. God created from nothing everything we see and even the farthest reaches of the universe we cannot see. The greatest miracle of all we have evidence for. And if God can create the universe from nothing then Jesus being resurrected is easy compared to that.

My God is the most powerful but also such a loving and caring God to meticulously and perfectly prepared for my life and all of mankind. We could of easily been like Venus or Mars.

This has been Hugh Ross's progressive creationist line for about 30 years.
Many Christians have adopted this view in order to bring the Bible into harmony with the consensus of contemporary scientific opinion.
It poses too many problems for me.

ever heard of The Cesium-133 atom use in atomic clocks, thinking of the beginning of time I think these little guys was around in the beginning. Newer atomic clocks that measure optical frequencies of light are even more precise, there’s a chemical atom to that use recently made.

What are the problems it poses? Creation is evident of God. They shouldn't contradict each other. But agree there is bad science but also good science. It is all on how each person views the evidence.

In billions days like a million years at minute, Galactic years are a reality, one single solar system rotation around the wheel of the galaxy is about 240 million years on earth in prospective to earths single rotation around the sun

It would appear. When the glory had departed as it seems on the forth day it started the today clock .When his glory again is the light there will be no night. Jesus is the bright as the source of light and morning star the one that reflects the Love of God..

I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it. On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there.Revelation 21.
