Joh 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Rom 1:3 Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;
Rom 1:4 And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.
Gal 4:4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
Gal 4:5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
The Son here is speaking of the man Christ Jesus who is flesh for Jesus is God and man.
Jesus knows the day and the hour for He is God, but the man Christ Jesus is speaking that He does not know for He is flesh.
But the man Christ Jesus said the Father revealed all to Him so He might know but could mean that the Father set the time when it will not happen and not the Son, the man Christ Jesus.
Which the Jews asked Jesus if He was going to restore the kingdom to Israel at that time and He said the Father will do it in His time.
So it either means the Son does not know, or He knows but the Father sets the time not the Son, but either way the Son does not know in this sense is referring to the man Christ Jesus the flesh, and not Jesus as God for as God He knows.
It is like when the man called Jesus good Master what must I do to inherit eternal life and Jesus said why call Me good for there is only one good and that is God which it is the man Christ Jesus, the flesh speaking saying the only reason I do good is because God causes me to do good giving the glory to God and not the flesh.
Like when Jesus said to Mary, my God and your God, and my Father and your Father, He is speaking as the man Christ Jesus, the flesh.
Like when Jesus my God, my God, why have you forsaken me it was the man Christ Jesus, the flesh speaking for He felt what it was like to be separated from God for a short while when He always felt the Spirit, but in reality God did not leave Him which Jesus said the Father will never leave Him for there was no reason for the Father to forsake the man Christ Jesus for He is sinless but He is the Lamb that takes away the sins of the world so on the cross He felt separated from God for a short while for He knew the Father's will was the cross so the Father could not forsake Him in the sense that He was on the cross, so it had to be a feeling.
So when Jesus says the Son does not know the day and hour it is the man Christ Jesus, the flesh speaking for Jesus is God and man.
Yes. Some tend to overlook the fact that Jesus had a duel nature(Fully human/Fully God).
I think it's because (1) Jesus chose to set aside His omniscience while on earth and (2) to point His followers to the Father.
In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus said several times that the Father knows things (different contexts of course). He was trying to show His Father to His listeners. So I think in kinda the same way, He wanted to emphasize that the Father knows the day and hour of the Son's return. We know that the Son knows it too, being God and therefore being omniscient, but Jesus would always (out of a lack of a better way to put it) de-emphasize Himself and emphasize His Father.
It's part of the humility that Christ had. Also interesting is that He related Himself to His Father in kinda the same way that John the Baptist related himself to Christ.
Because, as Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 15, God will be "all in all" once Jesus has done everything He has planned to do.

it is the traditional answer of the groom in the Hebrew marriage ceremony. after making an offer of marriage to the bride by paying her price & offering her a cup of wine, and she accepting by drinking it, he leaves her presence saying 'I go to prepare a place for you.'
the Father of the groom sets the day for him to come 'like a thief' to snatch away his bride, and it is kept secret. if the groom is asked, though he very likely knows, he says, 'only my father knows the day and hour'

The Book of John chapter 1. In scripture we're told Jesus is both the Son of God and the Son of man. (Hypo-static Union) No one could look upon God and live, as we're told in the Old Testament, so The Word that is God became flesh and brought the New Covenant/Testament , to the world.
Jesus said, prior to His crucifixion, I can do nothing on my own initiative. Just as I hear, I judge, and my judgment is just, because I do not seek my own will, but the will of the one who sent me. (Book of John chapter 5:30)
Which would tell us at the time of Jesus teaching what He said concerning His second coming, would be in keeping with that limitation because Jesus emptied Himself and taking on the form of a man.

I agree with your overall premise. I don’t know what you mean by informed as Holy Spirit God in flesh
The word, informed, is my own. In other words and to put it a different way, after Jesus' resurrection the Omniscience of His full self, (God), was present in that one that was still man and yet knew all there is to know eternally. Thanks for asking for that clarification.
That is Interesting and that was not the only time that had happened. Jesus kept looking around to see who touched his garment
Mark 5
27When the woman heard about Jesus, she came up through the crowd behind Him and touched His cloak. 28For she kept saying, “If only I touch His garments, I will be healed.” 29Immediately her bleeding stopped, and she sensed in her body that she was healed of her affliction.
30At once Jesus was aware that power had gone out from Him. Turning to the crowd, He asked, “Who touched My garments?”
31His disciples answered, “You can see the crowd pressing in on You, and yet You ask, ‘Who touched Me?’”
32But He kept looking around to see who had done this.
33Then the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him trembling in fear, and she told Him the whole truth.
I think this also draws a correlation to when Jesus was tempted by Satan. People ask “How can God be temped by the Devil?” The answer is Jesus was being tempted as a man. His humanity was being lured yet He did not sin.

The Book of Luke chapter 2:49 And he said to them, “Why were you looking for me? Did you not know that I must be in my Father's house?”[h] 50 And they did not understand the saying that he spoke to them. 51 And he went down with them and came to Nazareth and was submissive to them. And his mother treasured up all these things in her heart.52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature[i] and in favor with God and man.
I think Jesus asked about whom it was that touched His cloak so as to give the one who did the opportunity to prove to Him if they were honest about it or not. Which would signal then their motives.
I’m sure most people have heard others say to others they are a know it all, Jesus didn’t claim that he knew his limitations while in human form. The complete knowledge of God can’t fit in the human brain it would overload the brains circuitry the brain would literally explode into a thousand pieces.

The one issue I see with that would be, today that would be called a white lie, by saying who touch me but knowing who did would be telling a half truth.
