End Quote
Here is a
tidbit from that I picked up in Church this morning:
Titus 1:9 (HCSB)
9 holding to the faithful message as taught, so that he will be able
both to encourage
with sound teaching and to refute
those who contradict it.
WISDOM:
There are NO Contradictions in the BIBLE, when you interpret IT CORRECTLY.
Any TIME you think you have found a CONTRADICTION, you have made a mistake in one, or both verses!
That word
contradict can refer to any Contradiction, and is especially pertinent when the contradiction is in these VERSES:
Titus 3:5-7 (HCSB)
5
He saved us—
not by works of righteousness that we had done, but
according to His mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit.
6 He poured out this ⌊Spirit⌋ on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,
7 so that
having been justified by His grace, we may become heirs with the hope of eternal life.
ANYONE who teaches that
our works are part of SALVATION, is teaching a major
contradiction and we must regard that TEACHING
IS NOT BIBLICALLY SOUND.
