For the absolute majority of all people on earth:

'evidence' = "any statement made by an 'authoritative' person or organization"
 
I am only trying to do what Moses_Young is trying to do --- get you to think for yourself instead of simply 'parroting' what you have heard.
 
It is very unfortunate that most Christians do not understand just how 'big' of a LIAR that Satan really is --- and, are unwilling to consider how it manifests in the reality they live in.
 
The painfully obvious blatant truth in/of the statement in blue in post #142 is:

"You have been lied to!"

You have been fed lies all of your life by an/the establishment of "unquestionable authority" in every facet of your physical existance.

(You just don't fully realize it yet.)

The statement in blue in post #142 is telling you that you will only learn the [real] truth [about the reality you live in] if you question what you have been taught.

If you never question what you have been taught -- you will live out your life like the mass population in The Matrix - who are "clueless" about the true nature of their reality.

Especially when the Bible tells us:

Revelation 12:

9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

And, he has in fact done exactly that.

Are you willing to believe what the Bible says - or, are you unwilling to believe that Satan can do - and, has achieved - what is indicated in the verse above...?

I think for myself... and I know all.about deception and lies.

Well you cannot just state viruses do not exist without at least some reason for thinking that way.

Maybe they were created in some lab...but anyone who has caught a cold from someone else and has the exact same symptoms has to concede that the illness was caused by some microbe passed between the two people.

Bacteria behaves very differently in the body.
Yes doctors cannot determine what you have unless they do further tests.

They like to cover all the basis.. having said this doctors no longer prescribe antibiotics so quickly because of the threat of super bugs.

I do not believe that I have made such a statement. I am not trying to prove or disprove whether viruses exist or not. What I am suggesting is that - a lot of the time, at least some of what you hear and read is "made up" - it is not real (at least, not the way it is presented to you). And, that - most people tend to believe and accept most-if-not-all of what they hear and read without even thinking about the possibility of the necessity of the requirement of proof.

As for the virus in China (the thread topic) - I am 100% convinced that one of the following is true:

~ The virus - as defined and demonstrated in the public media - is "made up" (agenda based) and does not actually exist.

~ The virus does exist - and, was created in a laboratory and purposely and deliberately released into the population.

I do not believe that it was an "accident" of nature.

Okay
I prefer to have a little higher level of proof...it could be a virus from animal or it could be a genetically modified virus...truth is we may never know.

The percentage of death is about 2%
SARS was almost 10%., H1N1 I believe even higher, one would think a lab created virus would be far more virulent.
