Me, I'm one of those people that likes to be alone as much as I can. Wouldn't want it any other way. There's just something about solitude that I just love and can't get enough of. I honestly don't feel comfortable at all being around one or more people. I guess you could say I just don't like people. Or I like very few people. And my life philosophy is never to put your complete trust or faith in anyone but yourself. Because how can you let yourself down, you know? Or at least that's how I see it anyway.

Solitude could very well be my religion. That's how much I treasure and value it. What about you? How do you feel about being alone? Do you love it? Hate it? Or is it just something you prefer every now and then? Please share your thoughts if you like. :)

Since Christ indwells the believer, we are never "alone" as we are to keep our minds "stayed on Him" as we "pray without ceasing" I am seldom around people, I am never alone.

I don’t think you can rely on yourself because you could go wrong but being alone with God is the best.

Depends, around certain types of mindsets i would rather go it solo. I think it wise to consider other peoples need for more social interaction, so i do sometimes put in the effort to be more social and tolerant of the needy. Life isn't all about me, so i make time for some people for their sake, when i really would much rather be doing something else. Sometimes i get something useful out of it.

I am encouraged that there were 50% of those taking the survey responded with "other" and report their personal relationship with the Father in Jesus name.

Obviously talking about physical contact with people without social interaction.

I need to be alone daily, it recharges me as being around people constantly drains me - the foundational meaning of introvert.

if a person is truly born again and Spirit filled, that is the first priority, He deserves and requires first place. Relationship with Christ is more satisfying than any human relationship.

I don't care.

Like, honestly, I seriously don't care. I'm up for whatever happens, but I'm not an initiator. If it's time for a family dinner, yay! If there's nothing going on right now, I guess I'm alone, but I have stuff I want to do. Either way, whatever is happening right now is cool.

This does make it hard for me to understand both sides, the "I always have to be in a crowd or I'm bored stiff" AND the "I need some me time because all these people are wearing me down" groups. But I can observe they are the way they are, even if I don't really understand it.

Maybe I'm not as smart as I think I am. I have observed mentally disabled people are often the "take it as it comes" kind too. Maybe I'm one of them.

I dont believe in myself...I believe in Jesus. Cos he will never leave me nor forsake me so I am not alone.

I tend to do a lot of things on my own, but that is the blessing of being single, you arent bound to anyone.

I cant handle too many people at once so, big churches with heaps of people, gatherings, festivals and markets, crowded beaches, big concerts, parties, or when over 30 children crowd into my small library ALL AT ONCE is sometimes hard to handle. I dont like staff meetings cos I fall asleep in them and people talk too long.

I think its more the noise rather than the people themselves. I love people because God loves people, but just one or two at a time please.

I really love conversation and one-on-one time with someone or even hanging out with small groups of people. I am surrounded by children almost every day and I'm fine with that. The bigger the group, the more exhasuted I become. I am someone that needs, appreciates and desires some alone time too. A healthy balance is my preference.

I have daily time alone which more than suffices for my psyche. Although I’m an extrovert, I value quiet and the opportunity for replenishment and stillness. I like to give myself daily doses of nothingness. Where being is all I want.

I spend a bit of time alone, which is ok bc I do things I enjoy then!
However being and extrovert I value my time with others most highly!
