Growing up believing every thing printed in the Bible was Scripture i was in for a big surprise ! See the Bible i was reading was Scofield's. Scofield word is not God's Word. Grandpa used an early edition of Scofield ,1909 or 1917 . Scofield notes have been edited over the years. From my upbringing Dispinsationalism and Pentecostalism are centered around the Scofield Bible. Right or wrong the 2 are one in my head/heart. Scofield as one of the fathers of dispensationalism leaves much to be desired . Not saying Scofield was a prophet ,as a prophet of God is never in error . but his notes are contrary to Gods word The quote below is from the 1917 edition .. Finding this out about 40-45 years ago forced me to read Scripture in a new unencumbered way.

The gathering of the tares into bundles for burning does not imply immediate judgment. At the end of this age ( Matthew 13:40 ) the tares are set apart for burning, but first the wheat is gathered into the barn. ; John 14:3 ; 1 Thessalonians 4:14-17 .

My thing is ''your sins will find you out'' so all these fake teachers are taken care of one way or the other, the ones who belong to Jesus will be exposed, corrected and humbled .. What hand do I play ? Can they be restored like I have a few times ? I just disqualify them from being an authority but they still can belong to Jesus and probably a little more humbled and refined .. The Word goes out and will not return void .. And there's no way I would ever be in charge of a flock .. I can preach the Word and have, led many to Jesus but I don't consider myself qualified under 1 Tim 3 .. I don't have that much nerve and confidence

Amen bojack. Who was Jesus speaking of in the following verses:
John 14:12,13 "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son."
These cessationist will probably call the miracles of the two witnesses, I believe will be in this generation, of the devil. Just saying.

As loving as God is, it makes we wonder why he did not destroy mankind in a twinkling of the eye when mankind chose to do the will of another spirit. It would define mercy.
Miracles are miracles nothing more and nothing less. Eternal God not seen is" nothing less". We walk by faith the unseen, eternal .
The law of faith which is trusting a God not seen. It is the law that was made to no effect in the garden again by doing the will of another spirit.
The question I would ask is if in regard to the greatest miracle ."Born Again" .If he said marvel not. How would that work with a lesser miracle?

Can't see spiritual things. We can see the things of men . If I saw a sign I would inquire what is the meaning that follows after the sign?
Like for instance. What is the meaning of falling backward slain in the spirit? Does it mean men are mocking God by their oral traditions of corrupted mankind? The spirit of judgment?
