So a person who has faith in Jesus, bears fruit in some aspects of life but is sinful in other aspects does not have salvation?

To be honest I didn't get that from his post you responded to.

He finished with

I got from that one sentence is that he is more or less saying

"There is a difference between someone who claims to be a believer and doesn't give two hoots about sinning and one who does and hates sinning"

I'm sure @Judges1318 will correct me if I'm wrong.

If people are not walking according to their identity and new nature then we need to come alongside.

Is there a cause of the effect?
If so then let's walk with them and allow the Holy Spirit to transform them by dealing with the cause.

If they blatantly say I can sin all I want and it's covered and will not accept correction then time to leave them alone and leave it up to God.

Thank you for asking.... this is my absolute favorite topic... amongst many, many biblical topics.

He has given us grace and we are in His grace .... Hebrews 4:16 is a great springboard to deepen our knowledge of grace.

I will put some thoughts together.

Thanks brother. I hate to sound hypocritical because I have my own shortfalls but I hate the fact that he cheats on his wife and abuses his dog. We’re supposed to love God with all our heart mind and soul; we’re supposed to love our spouse and forsake all others; dogs are man’s best friend and we are not to betray their love and loyalty.

We are saved once, made sons of God and then He as our Father corrects us....

What part of Jesus being Savior do you not understand? You believe your works get you salvation and you are simply wrong. Give the credit where the credit is due ~~ Jesus Christ.

Jesus is Lord and Savior. It is God that works in us both to will and do His good pleasure. We are His workmanship created unto good works through Christ, which HE has before ordained that we should walk in them through His Spirit. For it is certain in Him we live, move and have are being.

Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. We who place our eternal state of well-being fully in Christ alone, do so in accordance with God’s commands.

We all have shortfalls brother.
I have so many but I press on, even when I doubt that God does not love me and is about to kick me out.

I have had to learn and boy it's been hard and painful but at some point we need let the person go. Always leave the door open as I do.

I suppose my mind thoughts have been romanticism.
But the reality is that it's not.

And that is hard.

I'm going to say that if I lived where you live and I knew you and if I was struggling you would be my first point of call.

You are kind, loving and accepting and only want the best for those that God has given you.

Yes, Corrie Ten Boom is a hero to me. For those who have never seen her testimony, this is a MUST VIDEO. I think I watched this video when it was first aired.
