Prove what? You didn't point out what you disagreed with. The only thing I disagree with is that if sex was only for procreation why would God make it intimate, or feel good, or how the brain chemistry changes to mimic the use of a drug in a euphoria state of mind. The Song of Solomon sure doesn't sound like God designed sex for just procreation. It has a spiritual connection otherwise if it didn't it would just be like doing laundry. Otherwise it wouldn't have the emotional pain element when someone is caught in adultry or rape.
Can you prove by using Scripture, that sex is not for Procreation only?

Let's see if @Roughsoul1991 can show in Scripture that my statements are incorrect about the purpose of sex. We are subject to the Word of Elohim/God.
I disagree on your view of sex from the biblical perspective....I.am more interested in the secular two sections of the Crowley sex cult...the one that claims abstinence and had greater power.

Read through song of songs and try to tell me that kind if intimacy was only designed for reproduction. You sound similar to the atheist. Animals are only designed for reproduction. All just to sustain the species and no love connections. Are we just animals like our atheists want us to think? Does sex not carry any other feelings other than reproduction?

This is silly. Not sure what your trying to say. I defend marriage, you defend abstinence. Great. The Bible doesn't condemn either one.

Your demand of Roughsoul is a fallacious burden of proof reversal. You make the claim, you support it from Scripture. Nobody is obligated to disprove your assertion; rather, it's on you to prove it.

The moderators can delete this thread. I'm making an improved thread in another part of the website.
I don't blame you for wanting to start another thread with more nonsense. Considering that this one has been such a hit with over 100 responses.

I hate the internet and how it censors antisexuality. I can't wait to form my local offline group not financed by prostitutes. The internet is disgusting.
What a martyr. Complaining about censorship while in a thread on the subject, that's uncensored.
And it is normal policy for the site not to delete posts or threads unless they violate the rules or under a very limited array of conditions, none of which does your thread fit into.
And since your thread already exists theres no need to give you a second one.
You aren't being censored at all, nor treated any different than anyone else would be.

Agree with your post. I just had a passing comment. I do think that animals are capable of showing a semblance of love, and even a semblance of marriage as God designed it in some species, though not to say that they do feel or exemplify either to the extent that humans should and do. One example of a species that mates for life with one partner is macaw parrots of varying types. They even have a lifespan similar to people, living an average of 80 years. Some parrot species have been known to die of what is described as depression after the loss of their life long mate.
Also brought to my mind are the pets/companion animals that show obvious grief when they have lost a family member, regardless of what species that family member was (human, another pet, etc). I would call that a form of love and greater emotional awareness than an unthinking being that lives only to eat, mate, and sleep.

In short, I think that God's creation is very interesting and there's a lot that we don't know about it, including animals; and also that I don't think the atheists are right about animals either.

good post you are tough living without internet like that. how old are you? do you plan to ever marry or be single forever?
I'm not sure if I didn't get on at all or check up on things at some point but the topic of the thread was the pivotal role in the decision, purity that is. I did work a job and walked to and fro. I'm 28 now and yes I would like to get married. However, a compatible partner is probably the biggest issue. Someone that has similar goals, and is willing to at least open the discussion.

I've hit quite a few dead ends and while I don't think anyone is going to land on my doorstep I can say I am a bit tired of looking randomly. I've tried in the church, the world, work, and school. Really not certain how to proceed. It's a frustrating process.

In fact, I'm feeling an extreme change may be beneficial again at this point but implementing it unilaterally is the main challenge. I was of one mind before on it, and met a lot of opposition by others who thought it was "abnormal" and at this point, isolation I'm not sure is the best move this time.

no offense intended here (challenge mostly)...but why do you think it wise to be well versed in the things of evil when that is strongly encouraged otherwise in scripture?

I have a lot to say on the subjects that have been presented but "I" have a lot to say. I don't think the Lord wants certain things said. The error of Balaam is extremely serious. This is said out of concern. If I can encourage you further against this pursuit I'll keep posting.

There's a whole world out there believers have no place in, sorcery is forbidden. At least sexuality is permitted this side of eternity within the proper boundaries. Looking into it is like watching porn to see how wicked it is and to give a sermon on why "precisely" it is wrong. I'm pretty confident Paul wasn't talking to astrologers and worshippers at the Artemision or reading on the subject in order to be a more effective Apostle.
