There is a new deception going on, workers are trying to use then”stop believing” argument to support their work for salvation gospel.
there are serious people who believe that if you no longer want your salvation, God will not force you to keep it, and these people will end up lost. However. When you talk to them, they will never talk of ones character, how musty the person sins, or any other thing, they truly believe the sin issue was removed. They just believe God is a loving God and if one of his kids change their mind he will not force them
i disagree with them, but then again, neither of us believe that person is saved. The difference is I believe they were never saved to begin with.
many of these brothers and sisters I have fellowship with, because many go to my church, and I know some are here in CC with us.
as for these other types. They mock these believers by claiming to be just like them (if you stop believing you will lose salvation) because when you get down to it, they speak constantly of sin, lack of obedience, of falling away, of backsliding, things which are terms used by those who work for salvation, which is completely different for. Saying a child went to God, said here God I no longer want this, thank you, but no thank you. They did not fall away, backslide, anything, they just gave it back
be careful these workers who are using this new term and denying they reject Grace,
