It's ok, you still mean what you said about me in the other posts though? :)
Well I am nonamemcgee

I am not sure if you remember me, but yes. Actually most of what I said still applies, the most important of which as I see you as a sister in Christ who trusts our savior and not self.

Just because we are born again doesn't mean we instantly understand everything.

If we still doubt sometimes, something I did was remember how much God has changed me already..... once I did that it was so crystal clear I am in His hands and instead of doubting I should show how grateful I am by trying my best to let His love shine through me. We make such better witnesses when we have so much peace and joy and comfort in His promises, but doubt would NOT disqualify one of His children...

“Even if everyone else deserts you, I will never desert you” (Matthew 26:33 NLT). Peter meant it, but less than five hours later he denied Christ. Don't brag about how strong you are. Apart from Jesus, you are as weak as Peter, and so am I.

If you want to play word games fair enough, but isn't it best to do as Jesus said to others after healing them and sin no more?
We should strive to not sin, yet how many of us are sinless, without fault or defect, flawless, 100% of the time, exactly like Jesus? (1 John 1:8-10; 2:1) Promoting a license to sin/practicing sin is not the alternative to sinless perfection either. (1 John 3:9-10)

I cannot think why people seem not to care about living a life that is righteous in the sight of God.
I haven't seen any here like that.

Are you making a strawman (false argument) that would suggest because someone trusts in Christ, they don't desire righteousness?

You're wrong, everyone who has been disagreeing with you loves righteousness and live to grow in Christ and walk in a way that is fruitful.

You however are a false accuser of God's children. Everything I have quoted from you is objectively wrong.😅

Repentance? But then that is a Catholic thing.

Repentance (not to be confused with penance in Catholicism) is not absent from faith in Jesus Christ. Acts 20:21 - testifying both to Jews and to Greeks of repentance toward God and of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

this is so true man. st.peter was probably one of the strongest people out there he saw all the miracles first hand witnesses the power and still was like "Jesus, who?"

human beings are very fickle and weak. just takes small things to throw us off balance. spirit is willing flesh is weak.

I have always believed we should confess our sins before God and repent of them so.....

@eternally-gratefull, do you know what the yoke of the Pharisees is? I have heard about Jesus warning his disciples about it. Do you have an idea about that of Herod also?
I think it was the yoke if trying to earn your salvation by your deeds vs Christ which is to let him save you. Ie give your rest from work

Confessing sins is coming into agreement with God as part of our relationship, fellowship and to help grow in Christ, HOWEVER, when we are born from above, all past, present and future sins are covered by the blood of Jesus and all sins were forgiven at the cross.

They have no biblical basis for their beliefs that is why they build straw men and accuse.

All a red x means is you disagree with a post.
Stop making such a big deal about it people!

If a red x is the only thing you'll 'hear' from somebody, then so be it.
I disagree with this post and gave you a red X.

But I am not making a big deal about it and I was thinking just to let you "hear" about it too!:D

That's right!
