Simply put, if signs and wonders have ceased, then there is no way for Revelation 11:6 to be true.

They have the power to shut the sky, that no rain may fall during the days of their prophesying, and they have power over the waters to turn them into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague, as often as they desire.
Are you Amillennial? If so there is no problem. Futurists have many problems with this.

The Father gave Jesus the Spirit without measure (John 3v34). The gifts are given as He wills. If you have faith like a mustard seed you can move mountains. It's the exercise of faith that holds back the current church. The problem lies not on God's side of the equation. The problem lies in the fact that not many are truly sold out for the Lord in this day and age. How many live like the disciples in the book of Acts? Not many. We are to seek the gifts, ask and receive. The faith in those days was great. And great Fear of the Lord was upon the people. Today, it's more of a casual approach.
The Baptism included all 9 gifts in Corinthians. You don't see these today. Only pale attempts to act like people have them.

Read 1 Timothy 4v14 again. The GIFT was imparted with the laying on of hands (by the elders). Not the ordaining as minister. Read it again.

When will you admit you are wrong, now that the evidence has been provided?
Read the first and following of the chapter.

“Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery. Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all. Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.” 1 Timothy 4:12–16 (KJV 1900)

Here's how it works;
Because of this I remind you to rekindle God’s gift that you possess through the laying on of my hands.” (2 Timothy 1:6)

“For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee:” Titus 1:5 (KJV 1900)

In context “laying hands on anyone” refers to ordination or official installation of someone as an elder.

But that's not what it says. Here I will make it big letters and nice colour for you:
Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.

No ordination here. If it was ordination it would have SAID SO.

-It was a GIFT
-It was GIVEN

-It was by the Presbytery / Elders (there goes your doctrine - crash and burn)

The way I chop through all of your reasoning is with one simple challenge. Show (1) other way the gifts (Baptism of the Holy Spirit) came apart from an apostle's hands. Or through the two outpourings.
Even Paul raised the dead. Yet Paul did not receive it via the Outpouring on the day of Pentecost. Nor did he get it from Jerusalem Apostles. The only time we read of Paul being laid hands on was Acts 13v2 where the elders in the church in Antioch laid hands on him.

So then, according to your doctrine, how did Paul raise the dead (Acts 20v7-12) without the baptism of the Holy Spirit?

I rephrase, the gift is given by God through the laying on of hands - in this instance.

The Baptism was the credentials for being an apostle. It came with his appointment by Christ. Only they had the Baptism with signs and wonders. Along with those in the gentile outpouring. And those the Apostles appointed through the laying on of their hands. If the Baptism were for all, today, every church would have nothing but apostles.

Are you Amillennial? You need to understand Amillennialism before you can understand this verse.

Timothy's gift was preaching. They laid hands on him to confirm this gift was of God before the congregation. Nothing mystical in the laying on of hands. Timothy was a gift to the church given by God.

the “two witnesses” of Rev 11:3 are said to be “two lampstands” (Rev 11:4), and lampstands previously have been defined as churches (Rev 1:20), the “two witnesses” likely are not individuals but symbolize the corporate church in its prophetic and witnessing role.880

So easy to refute this, it's a joke.

Basic comprehension is totally lacking Dave.

Rev11
The Two Witnesses
11 Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod. And the angel stood, saying, “Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there. 2 But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they will tread the holy city underfoot for forty-two months. 3 And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.”
4 These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands standing before the God of the earth. 5 And if anyone wants to harm them, fire proceeds from their mouth and devours their enemies. And if anyone wants to harm them, he must be killed in this manner. 6 These have power to shut heaven, so that no rain falls in the days of their prophecy; and they have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the earth with all plagues, as often as they desire.
The Witnesses Killed
7 When they finish their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, overcome them, and kill them. 8 And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. 9 Then those from the peoples, tribes, tongues, and nations will see their dead bodies three-and-a-half days, and not allow their dead bodies to be put into graves. 10 And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them, make merry, and send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth.
The Witnesses Resurrected
11 Now after the three-and-a-half days the breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them. 12 And they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here.” And they ascended to heaven in a cloud, and their enemies saw them. 13 In the same hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. In the earthquake seven thousand people were killed, and the rest were afraid and gave glory to the God of heaven.
