I know the difference.

Many people have never heard the Gospel or have yet to hear the Gospel so I disagree with you stringing the two together.

And morality is not to be confused with righteousness.. and not debating this further

Except to state you seem to want to prove the dogma of preservation of the saints over and over ...it is the ongoing theme of all you posts...however you are unwilling to recognize that a person's justified status is an inward reality not always outwardly manifested.

Romans 1 says that those who have never heard the gospel are without excuse, and that all have sinned and are without excuse

Nope. You’re flailing at air.

Was it a sin for Cain to marry his wife?
That does not excuse David from taking multiple wives! And continuing to live with bathsheba until he died which by the way. Was your hypothetical was it not?

The does mean perseverance of the saints is correct either.

The fact that you have defend OSAS by stating it is not a license to sin tells me quite a bit.

I said that because accusers made that statement earlier.

Question does the fact of Paul refuting the same thing I refuted in Romans more than once tell you a lot too? 😉

Dude you have a besetting sin. Are you saved or list?

I have more than one. . But I , but will fight tooth and nail. You know, struggle with them. And yes, I am saved

I will pursue holiness not to be saved, but because I am saved

So if I have more than one besetting sin, does that make me less saved than a person who only has one?

What person? I applied the question to myself and no one else. Am I allowed to examine and discern myself?

And we should all follow suit and lay bare our failings/sins and ask on a public forum and ask ourselvedwhether we should consider ourselves saved or not

..... okay who wants to go next....don't all volunteer at once we will all get our turn!

I didn’t leave my wife. That was an example.

I wanted to see if people would get defensive about it, because I thought I DISCERNED something in your posts. And I was right

The Holy Spirit of God who works within us will not allow us to live our old life style anymore...
He is our guide , He is everything we need to live our new lives out...
Our sin becomes less and less not more and more , even our bad attitudes are sinful to God , but we are being sanctified day by day , all the glory to God Amen...

Completely agree. Because these are marks of a child of God.
