one thing is inarguable: Jonah sure looked like he was back from the dead when he showed up at Ninevah!!
I have considered all aspects and Jonah did not die, GO TO HELL AND SUFFER, and then pray to be delivered and was delivered.....

tradition among the Jews is that it hovers near the body for 4 days ((i'm told)). but i wouldn't say because i don't know.
God give Solomon Knowledge That me and you don't have , If you can't see & believe what he says , You sour are not Going to believe ME , But I have learnt that I haft to received the hole BIBLE ,AND not JUST the parts that agree with what I believe. yes, i agree with that 100% -- so, 1 Samuel 28 says Samuel spoke to Saul. if i disagree that it's Samuel aren't i looking at it wrong? in the same way that Jesus says Lazarus is only sleeping, not dead, and that to God all are alive - if i think the true meaning of 'death' is the body having expired, i'm looking at it wrong.
well i've certain i've heard 4 given as the term, but googling it now i'm seeing 3 or 7 -- there is definitely dispute among the rabbis about the length of time.

It says that Saul perceived that it was Samuel , This means that he thought it was , BUT he was wrong , Satan is good at deceiving us if we are preying & very careful on what we believe .Satan don't want us to know the truth , because it can set us free ,From His false doctrineings , By basing our believes on the whole BIBLE , HELPS us from being deceived , GOD bless as HE sees fit.

If it was Satan as you suggest, how could he predict the future, that Saul and his sons would die the next day? Only God can do that. Read v16-19 again.

12 “At that time Michael shall stand up,
The great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people;
And there shall be a time of trouble,
Such as never was since there was a nation,
Even to that time.
And at that time your people shall be delivered,
Every one who is found written in the book.
2 And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake,
Some to everlasting life,
Some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Satan had the power to destroy Jobs children , with a storm , And is a powerful Angel . He knew that GOD was not with Saul , And knew what he was going do . God get the blame for a lot of things that HE don't DO . Satan is the prince of this world . And when GOD backs off , Satan has the power to do a lot more then we think . GOD bless as HE sees fit ,FOR all of us on HERE.
