Thanks, where is the bible verse please?
Thanks I can try. Something I have been looking at.

The doctrine of hell begins in Genesis 4. It has to do with the curse in regard to the death of the first martyr Abel, as a witness of God.

Abel whose corrupted blood cries out from the corrupted heart of earth. It would seem Cain had plowed him under the corn field the fruit that God would not accept as a faith offering.. Cain performed that to support his deceitful heart as the pagan foundation . "Out of sight out of mind" .Instant gratitude. No faith needed. Cain deceiving himself as if God had not witnessed the whole event.

The curse caused the corruption the earth and therefore it did not produce fruit as previously allowing rest for the laborers. Being corrupted the heart of the earth used to represent a place that Abel cried out from . Like Jonas crying out from the belly of the whale three times in agony and three time was heard and comforted . It would be in a hope of the resurrection on the last day . You could say the heart of the earth like the human heart according to Cain again as the example has be come deceitful . Christ suffering for three days is a picture of Christ providing a way for Abel and any believer that followed . The drawing power to lift up the new creation to the new heavens and earth,

Cain is shown suffering a living hell with no rest (sabbath rest) and no promise of being lifted up as a marked man . You could 666 as sign of unbelief, no faith, no rest, no Jesus .

And we would have though it was too if we had been in there , acid burns ,The dead are in their GRAVES A sleep & don't know any thin.
The dead in Adam (corruptible mankind) are dead, dead, dead. They will not rise on the last day as those who died in Christ .They as new creatures are dead asleep and will hear the wakeup call on the last day the last trump . The same day the letter of the law as death will be cast into the lake of fire never to rise and condemn a whole creation ever again for ever more.

John 6:39And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

John 6:40And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

John 6:44No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

John 6:54Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

John 11:2Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.

John 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

All in the twinkling of the eye on the same last day .

I'm the account of Lazarus and the Rich man, it says both died. In Hades, the Rich man addresses Abraham. A whole conversation ensues.
Parable are to get a point out , Proverbs 26:7 the legs of the lame are not equal ; so is a parable in the mouth of fools . also 26:9.
I'm just saying that we haft to watch out for the parables for you can make them say a hole lot of things that contradict the BIBLE , AND WE ARE WRONG IN HOW WE ARE UNDERSTANDING THEM WHEN THEY DO , AS WHAT YOUR SAYING . GOD BLESS as HE sees fit .

But this parable entailed an actual conversation with Abraham. That's very, very specific. So it happened. To say it didn't happen is to deny the plain word of God.

There is no remission of sins with out the blood , & Cain's sacrifice there was no Blood , That is why GOD didn't except Cain's sacrifice. Hebrews 9:22 tells us this .

He couldn't have been talking to Abraham , Abraham was dead , & in his grave, & will be until his resurrection , Read Ecclesiastes 9:5 &6 ,Like I said you can make a parable say about anything , it is JUST bring out a point . & you can't take the hole thing literally .

The parable in Luke 16 the last in a series .Is not used to identify the doctrine of hell . It is about those who refuse to hear the gospel the two witnesses of God. The law and the prophets typified by Moses and Elisa. . . all things written in the law and the prophets(sola scriptura)

Twice to emphasize the alternative as a false hope of the Rich man sought after using necromancy as those who seek after workers with familiar spirits it was rejected. We know he did not hear God like those in Hebrews 6 that tasted but not believed (no faith) as a anchor to the soul . Because immediately after he repeated his request of seeking after the dead by sending the person of Lazarus who like all saints was fast asleep waiting for the last day to arise..

Jesus calls them deaf adders that offer the poison of false prophets, and in this case necromancy seeking after worker with familiar spirits .Rather than our Father in heaven .. . the one exclusive manner.

And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: Like 16;24 -27

He did not hear a word and remained in unbelief, no faith.

2 Corinthians 5:7For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

It's not a parable. Does not fit the definition of a parable. It is a true story that only the Son of God could relate.

Jonah called it Sheol (A physical place of torment of the dead). If it wasn't Sheol then the bible lied. And the bible doesn't lie.
It was Sheol.

But he still wasn't dead.

There are many instances of people praying to God from Sheol who weren't dead.

Didn't you read psalm 40:2, lamentations 3:55-58, Job 33:28-30 ??

What’s Sheol compared to hades and the KJV hell? Aren’t they all the same thing?

I don't think so.

Sheol is described as a great pit and watery.

Hell is described as hot and fiery.

Sheol is a place people can be redeemed from, saved from.

Hell is described as a final destination.

I thought that Sheol was Hebrew and hades was the same word but Greek. Is this wrong?

Are you saying Sheol is Abraham’s bosom? I’ve never heard that before. It sounds like Sheol is the RCC purgatory.

Of course you can take it literally. It is a very specific person from the bible and a specific conversation.

Samuel was raised up from Abrahams bosom when Saul went to the witch of Endor. The real spirit of Samuel (not a demon in this instance). Because Samuel pronounced judgement on Saul that Saul and his sons would die the very next day (God's judgement). There are instances in the bible. So you need to rethink your theology.

Agreed, but I’d say it was Samuel’s soul not his spirit. They’re two different things. When one dies their body is dead, the spirit returns to the Lord the giver of life, and the soul is what’s eternal, the inner man.

He was dead in the same sense that Jesus was dead during those three days (Body dead, but Soul departed to Sheol)

I’ve already shown through scripture that souls can speak, wear robes, can feel pain, etc...

OK lets put this to bed once for all.

1 Samuel 28

3 Now Samuel was dead, and all Israel had mourned for him and buried him in his own town of Ramah. Saul had expelled the mediums and spiritists from the land.
4 The Philistines assembled and came and set up camp at Shunem, while Saul gathered all Israel and set up camp at Gilboa. 5 When Saul saw the Philistine army, he was afraid; terror filled his heart. 6 He inquired of the Lord, but the Lord did not answer him by dreams or Urim or prophets. 7 Saul then said to his attendants, “Find me a woman who is a medium, so I may go and inquire of her.”
“There is one in Endor,” they said.
8 So Saul disguised himself, putting on other clothes, and at night he and two men went to the woman. “Consult a spirit for me,” he said, “and bring up for me the one I name.”
9 But the woman said to him, “Surely you know what Saul has done. He has cut off the mediums and spiritists from the land. Why have you set a trap for my life to bring about my death?”
10 Saul swore to her by the Lord, “As surely as the Lord lives, you will not be punished for this.”
11 Then the woman asked, “Whom shall I bring up for you?
Bring up Samuel,” he said.
12 When the woman saw Samuel, she cried out at the top of her voice and said to Saul, “Why have you deceived me? You are Saul!”
13 The king said to her, “Don’t be afraid. What do you see?”
The woman said, “I see a ghostly figure coming up out of the earth.
14 “What does he look like?” he asked.
“An old man wearing a robe is coming up,” she said.
Then Saul knew it was Samuel, and he bowed down and prostrated himself with his face to the ground.
15 Samuel said to Saul, “Why have you disturbed me by bringing me up?
“I am in great distress,” Saul said. “The Philistines are fighting against me, and God has departed from me. He no longer answers me, either by prophets or by dreams. So I have called on you to tell me what to do.”
16 Samuel said, “Why do you consult me, now that the Lord has departed from you and become your enemy? 17 The Lord has done what he predicted through me. The Lord has torn the kingdom out of your hands and given it to one of your neighbors—to David. 18 Because you did not obey the Lord or carry out his fierce wrath against the Amalekites, the Lord has done this to you today. 19 The Lord will deliver both Israel and you into the hands of the Philistines, and tomorrow you and your sons will be with me. The Lord will also give the army of Israel into the hands of the Philistines.”

No. He wasn't dead.

He wouldn't be able to pray if he was dead.

Nor would he be able to be saved or redeemed.

I’ve posted many scriptures showing the soul of a man, the inner man, can pray, wear robes and feel pain.
