You connected to the person who started this thread?
No, I never met him. But I know that the fiat system is evil. When people’s wealth are based on numbers on banking screens, numbers that can be wiped out in an instant it’s clear that its illusion. When central banks can essentially print infinite money in order to borrow and lend without restraint it’s clear that they control and enslave people who contribute actual labor but get nothing concrete in return.

I was a student of finance so I know what I’m talking about.
I am student of economics ...so no your assertions are tremendously over simplified and really demonstrate a limited understanding of micro economic or macro economics.

It will be a mark. Currencies have existe since before Jesus, Yeshua. He even made reference to it, and used a coin to pay the tax collector.

To this day I cannot understand why jewels and metals are intrinsically valuable to mankind. I look to the Gold andJewels of the Kingdom, for they are real.
The fiat principle of assigning arbitrary values to purchasing medium can be applied to virtually anything, including precious metals like gold. But gold originally was not assigned values, they were measured by weights. How much a piece of gold weighs can never be changed like numbers on a paper can. That is the difference.

Then provide your definition of fiat system and let me see where the difference is. It isn’t surprising to me that an economist will define the same thing in a different manner as compared to a finance specialist. That happens all the time.

That said I’m not a specialist, I merely studied finance before.

Even without such a thread, it is still true that fiat system is downright evil, deceptive and ungodly. It is a system of lies and thievery. Should believers in Jesus condone such a system by using it? Didn’t the Gospel say believers should not partake in evil?
What exactly is a practical financial alternative to the fiat currency?

Like what the OP suggested in his website, prepay whatever services you need, buy all your necessities in advance (excluding perishables which you cannot store for long) and the remaining invest in gold or other precious metals so you don’t have any fiat currencies left. The goal is to get out of that corrupt system altogether.

Trust what Jesus said that you don’t have to worry about what you eat or drink or wear. God will provide supernaturally if that is necessary. And even if He doesn’t, why live in a world so evil? Jesus said those who seek to save their lives in this world will LOSE it.

All symbols in the book of Revelation are based on the Tanakh. If you know the Tanakh you know everything. Therefore 666 relates to this passage in the Tanakh,

Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was 666 talents of gold,
1 Kings 10:14

Why gold you might ask? Well, my diagram will explain it, and what the true mark of the beast is.

The beast does have a few things that mark him out.

Rev 13:6-7
He opened his mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven.
He was given power to make war against the saints and to conquer them. And he was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation.

No individual has done these things so no beast present, so no mark that represents him, or empire over which he rules, or domination of Gods people as yet. There are beasts as a type of the last beast who have done such things in the past but this is the end of all things proposal, so not here yet.

In the US, President Nixon took the US currency off of the gold standard leaving all crrencies relying on the US dollar to have values that float according to the value of the dollar.

In other words there is no true back-up of any currency…………..but this is not he mark of the beast for neither he nor his prophet have come to the fore...…..

As for your employment, seek out an employment whereby you are given meals to eat for yourself and your dependents (if any) rather than fiat money. This is beneficial to both your employer and yourself because feeding you will cost your employer less than an actual income and you don’t have to use that corrupt system. Pray to God about this and perhaps you will find that alternative.

Inflation simply makes the paper money in a person's hand lose its purchasing power. So while your labor originally earned you a full day's meal, it now only entitles you to half a day's meal due to inflation. Half a day's meal is stolen from you because of inflation, so yes it is theft.
Hi Enxu, welcome to CC!

Hmmm, well, in the scenario you present, where does the other half of the food go?

What do you prepay with, fat currency? How do you invest in gold, with fiat currency?

I don't know of any employers that pay their wages in food. Do you really think that the electric company will accept payment in hamburgers and fries? In other words, you cannot offer a practical alternative to the current monetary system. Your suggestion is ludicrous.

Loving one’s neighbour is always shown through actions. Saying that I love my neighbour but then do nothing to help him when he is in need is not love, it’s hypocrisy. The examples stated in Torah are just how you can love your neighbour through actions.
I agree that love is always shown through actions.

What I'm saying is this: the commandment that says, in so many words, don't eat bacon, that commandment is actually fulfilled today by individual Christians loving their neighbor. For Christians today, it is not about what goes into one's mouth.

Yeah, I said already the goal is to get rid of fiat money. I gave you advice but it seems your intention is not to seek solutions, but to mock those whom you don’t agree with. It would have been nice if you made that clear from the beginning. Ask yourself then: do you really love God? You don’t need to answer me. Farewell.

It goes nowhere. It simply meant you worked for nothing in return, but when you first laboured your were promised something. So it is still theft.

The example given to you wasn’t about eating bacon was it? I personally believe that forbidden food in the OT had to do with separation of believers from unbelievers who could influence people into doing evil. It was about purity of conduct, not food.

I've often wondered about the OP's website and prepaying.

How many years in advance did he prepay for the website hosting? And how many years in advance did he register his domain name?

And if it was many years in advance, wasn't he in effect asking someone else do deal in the fiat currency system years from now in order to continue hosting his website?

What is the point of asking me for a solution when all you are going to do is to mock it? My suggestion is simply that, a suggestion. I’m already willing to sacrifice everything, including my life, so I don’t participate in evil, are you? Jesus said those who seek to save their lives will lose it, if you truly love Him you would be asking Him for the truth and then a solution so you don’t have to participate in evil once He tells you its evil. But yet you are here trying to make a mockery of me so you can continue what you want to do? That is truly ludicrous because if I’m wrong, I don’t lose anything and my conscience is clear before God for telling you to not participate in evil. But if you’re wrong and you somehow participated in evil, you are accountable before God.

The food doesn't cease to exist, whoever owns it would look for a buyer who would buy it for a lower price.

If you agreed to work for someone for a day for a particular wage, and they only pay you half that at the end of the day, then you have an issue that you can bring before the courts.
