Just an FYI, our denomination (United Methodists) is in the process of separating. As a member in my hometown of a UMC, I will refuse to continue under this denomination which is thinking about allowing homosexuals a place in leadership, ordain same-sex marriages. It is my opinion that this church I am a member of will separate and keep the traditional beliefs. Our church will probably split right down the middle of our congregation but that's ok as long as we who separate remain in the Word of God.
Denominations themselves are a work of the flesh. The sinful nature must be crucified to belong to Jesus, but not “a church.” I grew up Methodist. I heard a gospel but not the Gospel of the Kingdom. I shepherded myself in reality.

I did prove iT and one again you seem to be deflecting
these two passages have do bearing on rom 6 or col2 or Titus 3 or 1 or the other two Hs baptism passages
Ok you proved it. Not sure what that is or what it means or where in scripture it is referred to,
or there is anyone who would agree with you.

Col 1
12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light.
13 For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves,
14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

Eph 1
7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace
8 that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding.

Acts 2
38 Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Repent, be baptized, you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Pretty clear scripture.

Such a rather "odd" question isn't it?

If there were a "christian" who blasphemed the Holy Spirit?

That christian would not BE a christian!

Or, perhaps the asker of said question thinks I am as moronic as the asker?

Which begs the question. Who the heck are you!

And, what did you do with Lightskin, eh?

Fallen angels entertaining unbeknownst by the flesh?

Being right

James 4:6-8
That is why Scripture says: "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble."
Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

Eph 4:2-3
Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.

2 Cor 12:21
I am afraid that when I come again my God will humble me before you, and I will be grieved over many who have sinned earlier and have not repented of the impurity, sexual sin and debauchery in which they have indulged

In arriving we realise how much further we need to go.

not surprised "hewillcome2040" is wrong on this as well. he is a false prophet making fake predictions and date setting and calling Jesus a liar in his little thread he started.

there are so many of them. i believe internet is really terrible for christianity. all the crazy people get a platform. it was harder before internet to get a following and attention now all these online ministeries all you need is a fancy website or youtube page and people will come to you. but if you were in a street corner with sign sayin Jesus returns 2040 people will just say oh its another crazy person pay him no mind. and they would be right with this wolf here

am i only one who notice heresy seems to addon and pile up more? once you embrace one deception more will come
Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD

Though it doesn't seem to be the words of the LORD as much as the Truth of the words of the Lord. I have noticed that even in reference materials online there is corruption taking place. I am going back to my own reference books more and more as what I once trusted, I no longer do. I guess that is also to be expected. The things I am waiting for now are the "new discoveries" they will be claiming to prove or disprove one thing or another and the mess that will bring. The one world education, or shall I say lack of knowledge, is becoming quite evident with the changing of "truth" all the time with little dispute.

Still in never fails to impress how God told us these things were coming and to watch them unfolding right before our very eyes. Still we must fight the good fight. I love that saying "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing". The hardest part is knowing when it is ok to walk away.

Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, is in the mind of man, when they think the miracles HE DID, were probably of the Devil. Sadly they REJECT, what the Holy Spirit is trying to get them to BELIEVE IN THERE Heart (Human Spirit), which it is also a form of the Blaspheming the Holy Spirit.

THEREFORE I can NAME A Multitude of people that refers to. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU CALL BLASPHEMING THE HOLY SPIRIT, but this is going to be a good one. Do you even know that BLASPHEMING can be NONE VERBAL? Rejecting the LORD, is the most common blaspheming the Holy Spirit, as YOU HAVE JUST committed BLASPHEMY against the WORK of the Holy Spirit.
I blasphemed? 😆😆😆
Please elaborate.

Not clear the original text does not say repent and be baptized and you will be saved.
Why do you not wish to discuss my verses?

why do you post Col 1 when I am discussing Col 2 and the spiritual circumcision/baptism which removes what is against us and cleanses is forever?

I hope your not like the others who believe in justification by water by the hand of man

Wow, the workers and salvation maintainers are out in full force today.

Really too bad they are working on, or are focused on the unachievable.

"The Lord lives and blessed be my Rock and exalted be my God the rock of my salvation."

I agree. Repent and be baptized is Peters call to the unbelievers.
I am eager to discuss anything. Fire away. I am all ears. Jesus through our walk takes us to the heavenlies.

Eph 2
6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,
7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.

Peter told everyone to repent. He only told those who repented to get baptized because the recurved remission of sin

Once again the Greek text does not say what the new English bibles appear to say

Col 2 Colossians 2:11–12 (NKJV): 11 In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, 12 buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead

is this water or spirit baptism ?

We proclaim Jesus and His grace they slander us with lack of belief, sin and blasphemy.

They are so worthy and righteous they are only barely saved by grace the rest of salvation is all them.

Yeah look at the supporting scriptures around this piece you posted.

2 Corinthians 12
20 For I fear lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I wish, and that I shall be found by you such as you do not wish; lest there be contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, backbitings, whisperings, conceits, tumults; 21 lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and I shall mourn for many who have sinned before and have not repented of the uncleanness, fornication, and lewdness which they have practiced.
Continues directly into 13
2 Corinthians 13
13 This will be the third time I am coming to you. “By the mouth of two or three witnesses every word shall be established.” 2 I have told you before, and foretell as if I were present the second time, and now being absent I write to those who have sinned before, and to all the rest, that if I come again I will not spare— 3 since you seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, who is not weak toward you, but mighty in you. 4 For though He was crucified in weakness, yet He lives by the power of God. For we also are weak in Him, but we shall live with Him by the power of God toward you. 5 Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified. 6 But I trust that you will know that we are not disqualified.

- this is E_X_A_C_T_L_Y what we have been preaching here. Your disobedience is a sign that you are NOT in the faith.
- you can claim that you believe in Jesus all say long until the cows come home - if you live in disobedience you are not in the faith.
-repentance (v21) above is an ongoing requirement (and by this sincere repentance not shoddy/flaky repentance).
- @Eternally-Grateful - you can learn a lot from this passage (for you said it was no longer a requirement because you did it x number of years ago when you first believed). The scriptures witness against your dogma.

how much disobedience is living in it? for example it took me a long time to get victory over 'virtual fornication' if you can call it that. i eventually got the victory, but during the time i wasnt, was i unsaved all that time?

You were walking a tightrope. It could have gone either way. I believe if you died in that state you might have been found wanting. But God loves you and desired you to come to repentance (which you did). That is God's mercy in action.
