Amen. Jesus said

John 3:5-6
I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.
Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.

John 3:7 'You must be born again.'

But fruitless birth is no birth at all.
Are some fruitless birthed people defending their own lack of faith and life I wonder?
How much fruit is born by those whose works are wood, hay and stubble?

How about the Corinthian brother cut loose for the destruction of the flesh?

How about the prodigal that REMAINED a son throughout the whole process?

Looks like the have the fruit inspector back.....................YEP.......

John 6:40 - “For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.”
They absolutely cannot embrace this without ADDING something or some sort of religious hoop jumping

If you keep preaching and teaching that salvation can never be lost?

Then, you are not as Spiritually mature, as you make yourself look like you are.

I'd say, I'd "wait" for those who you say "know more."

Know what? Been there....Done that!

CRICKETS!
This post is as ignorant as they come....take it up with Jesus
.....he said eternal and everlasting....

More Catholic blather

LOOK..... A) salvation, justification, positional sanctification and being sealed are ALL a done deal in CHRIST eternally given and applied by faith.....

B) THE process of daily sanctification and transformation, growth and maturity are COMPLETELY separate from the above......it is a process, is subject to growth, maturity, the level of teaching and transformation per Romans 12:1-2 and if fully SUBJECT to successes and or failures..........

These clowns CONFLATE the A and B above and in so doing end up with a skewed false gospel that has no power to do either.....!
I asked a simple question.
If God does everything, why is the church not perfect now?
And if God is responsible for the churches imperfection, surely the gospel has failed?

Paul said

Col 1:28
We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ.

Paul is claiming the ability to present everyone perfect in Christ through admonishing and teaching.
Sounds like Paul believes his ministry is important to the salvation of the disciples.

Please be reassured that any dislike/disagrees that I give are not personal.
I have just had a quick look to see how many.
I thought about working out a ratio to posts posted and reactions given.
I do read all your posts.
I never respond to a post I have not read.

I decided not to do a ratio of my reactions to posts life is too short.

So just wanted to say any negative reaction is not of a personal intent concerning you as a person.

It's just that I disagree with what you have said. Blessings to you my friend.
Bill....Love you, but you really need to study pronouncing blessing on those that devalue JESUS and peddle false gospels.......!

Jesus is the fruit inspector, not me.

No fruit, death.

Matt 21:43
"Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit."

The seed in our hearts is imperishable.

1 Peter 1:23
For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.

John 15:5
If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

We know we have produced much fruit, and will continue to bear fruit because we remain in Him.
Do you believe Jesus and His word? It is quite clear and full of victory and hope.

Welp?....On that note, I would like to state a thing er two.
I operate, or at least up til now, under the auspices, that that which God has "drafted" me into His service for not just His sake, but, also for His Son's sake, Jesus of Nazareth, had been, for all practical intents and purposes, to this "end user"(me), something that was "achievable" by all!
And due to the lack of "pressing on to the High Calling of God?" Was/Is the reason/s why some people don't, or can't "see" that that which I post, is trying to learn them, to separate themselves from those who "won't", or those who basically, "know they don't wanna know", concerning high/er callings of God. One can even refer to these as "ministries!"

That being said? There are "some" ministries, pertaining to (how can I say) "The Kingdom of God, and the Kingdom of Light", that encompass (how can I say...again...:)) "time", as seen, and rendered by people, and the "passage of time?"; quite "differently", then most people.
It would be something like asking one of those Angels whom we entertain unknowingly, from "time to time :))), how "they" perceive "time", as it concerns people.

It is in the performing of and the executing of "ministries", on these "levels", that, it seems to me, that it is God Himself that does the "calling", in the way/s God Himself can "move laterally", into Jesus, and out of Jesus, just as He can move laterally into and out of the Gift of His Holy Spirit. Or, in His good pleasure, can be in all 3 places simultaneously, at the same time, or none of these places, and be somewheres else INVISIBLE, and SILENT!

Luke 3:8-9
Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. And do not begin to say to yourselves, 'We have Abraham as our father.' For I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham. The ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire."

Fruit of repentance is the sign of our beginning to walk with Jesus and salvation.

This is an important scripture. For those arguing with Jesus in those days were saying they were Abrahams children (Christians in todays equivalence). Jesus was showing them that merely claiming "association" is not authentic. The evidence of the authentic is fruit. Those claiming association by name only, end up in the fire.

Matthew 15
8 ‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth,
And honor Me with their lips,
But their heart is far from Me.

Place it in context...and frame it to the audience to whom it was spoken and then maybe you will understand these verses.

The logical conclusion.....

a. Does he finish it and complete it?

IF one says NO then they make JESUS a liar.......

HE WILL finish and complete it <----IT is IMPOSSIBLE for JESUS to fail in this......to say ONE can walk away, lose it and lose salvation MEANS that JESUS does NOT finish it and complete it!
I’m still believing after over 30 years because He has kept me. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever

A BIG AMEN.........the context was JOHN immersing people and what they must do before he would immerse them.......and JOHN was the last prophet -->the LAW and PROPHETS were until JOHN and the time frame was PRE-NEW Covenant ratification....

These people don't give a HOOT (since I cannot say the other word) about context.........they just rip verses out of the bible and then PASTE a belief on them to prove a point that does not exist....it is sickening and MUST reek in the nostrils of GOD
