The saints are asleep in their the graves & will be until comes raises them out of their sleep .
Maybe the OT saints, but Paul says to be absent from the body is present with the Lord. The Church began 2,000 years ago after the resurrection of Christ.

When we die if it's been 2000 years , It wouldn't be even as long as the bat of the eye. GOD bless

Philippians 3:9 - and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith.

That and knowing it will make them free who receive it.

In the verse it is written, "..for he who comes to God must believe he is and is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him." If a person 'must believe' he is in order to come to him then that would obviously indicate that God didn't come to them. And a person 'must believe' he is then that would obviously indicate they didn't have any actual knowledge of God's existence.

Therefore seeing that it written,
For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe. 1 Thess 2:13
it is obvious some men don't place any value in the gospel.

Right, the carnal mind is not subject to the law of truth, neither can it be for it is enmity with truth so the carnal minded seek to obtain their own righteousness the same way they obtain their own faith, by hearing the doctrines of men. Hence, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Son of God, thus man does not live by the scriptures alone but by every word that proceedeth from the mouth of the LORD doth man live.

The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: Mal 2:6

The reason I didn't quote that he is a rewarder of those who come to him is simple, how does someone find something they don't have any knowledge of? "The great God that formed all things both rewardeth the fool, and rewardeth transgressors." Prov 26:10
Christ says you must come to Him as a child.

This means NOT thinking that you have knowledge of God or anything else, but in the innocence and naivete of a child.

In other words, unable to gain the Knowledge or Wisdom that Christ can give.

The blind and deaf man would be a fool to come into the presence of God thinking himself wise.

Draw them in? Sounds needy to me. Be satisfied that those who believe Paul and jESUS ON OBEDIENCE cannot be understood as wanting to please God.
Could you please answer my question instead of deflecting?
Now that you are here, can you show us how one can attain righteousness through the law???

No more than "walking in the Spirit" if the law being kept is of God, it is when one looks to external sources that it becomes tricky, but self-deceiving.
What is deceiving is when one thinks they are keeping the law, i.e. When they think their own righteousness is on par with Christ's righteousness.

My response was directed at your post about "drawing out" people you deem as offenders of your way of thining. Kind of like appointing yourself as God's little vigilante. So, who is defelcting. You like that pat term do you not?

Why to you people use terms like keeping the law and being under the law when Jesus has taughgt us to obey the commandments and we pass on His teaching. SD

In John's epistle he tell us to obey the commandments..

In Revelation Jesus repeats that we are to keep the commandments.

If you or anyone believe he is obeying the law when he or she loves, good for you, but remember you are obeying the law, or as yo put it under the law or keeping the law.

No one who believe we should obey Göd ev er swtated he was on a para with Jesus, this you hape put into your mix.

We are saved by grace and we know it, but we are taught to be obedient to God which means to recognize His wisdom before that of the flesh, even yours.

Are you so desperate to condemn others that you will teach agains the teaching so our Savior? Shame.

I do think you miss under stand paul there . & paul even said that he had not obtained .
& peter tell us that a some the that Paul wrote was hard to understand . So we need to be carful & pray for understanding GOD BLESS & be with you as HE sees fit , for HE knows what we need.
I think I understand him. Like everyone. His flesh gets in the way. And there are thing he really as a child of God had no desire to do yet He does
we all have issues if we think we made it. Again see 1 John 1

I find it interesting you will neither deny the implied truthfulness of this question nor answer it, but only evade it. Let's try again...

Not only are we taught to be obedient to God but we are equipt (through the new birth, His indwelling Spirit, His Precious promises etc.).
Do you believe your righteouness is on par with Christ's righteousness, or do you confess along with the rest of us that your 'commandment keeping' is a dismal failure and must look in faith continually to Christ for mercy and grace and rely on His perfect obedience?

Even when you atgtaxck odthers with a seemingly truthful question you are lying because you are placing a cloud of doubt on the saved by thinking and accusing others are not aware of God¡'s truth and teachign.

You have been answered by me in the very post of min that you keep quoting in part twisting the entity of the entire post. It may seem sly but it is very transparant. Not pay attention to all of what peopel reply to you and stop taking a prt addressing one of your so-called beliefs and twisting it around without quoting it all.

Youa re responded to here quite fully and idn dthe post you tear up and wrinkle up the ñieces for other s...

You have brought this subject up so many times trying to get the obedient to say they have not awccepted the mercy and grace of salvaiton simply because they choose to please the Father in being like His Only Begotton.

I have in almost all of your vain attempts confess i AM SAVED BY GRACE BUT YOU CONTINually SAY FOR STHE BENEFIT OF readers thagt i OR OTHERS THINK WE ARE EARNING SOMETHING.
Are you saying you simply are ignorant that any works we do out of faith are given us by the Father to do?

Are you ignorant of the truth that we do not dream up something we think will pelase the Fathe or ear us the salvation we already have free from Jeus, Yeshua?

I am not going to argue with this obstinance. The next time you come in with your loaded questions, pat responses, and false accusation, don respon to my confession with your twisting them. The Blood of Yeshua be on me, and may you one day have that same goodness and salvagtion in place of your accusing manners.

YOu know well that is impossible and in the posts I have given you I have more than simply implied this, I have confess it is not done...…...………..again, no more silly contentions. Sekk Jesus and donot seek what you may be considering wrong-doers. Be content to discus with those who read the Word and believe it. I learn from theme very day, but you kekep repeating the same type of allegations about working without God for His approval, that is impossible as I hae already delineate for yo several times. Do not bother those who are content with the faith given them, they receive it from god…….you are not to question the faith of others.

Christ says you must come to Him as a child.
If not mistaken it is written in Matthew 19:14 "But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me"

And it is written in Mark 10:14 "But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not:

And again it is written in Luke 18:16, "But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not"

Of course in the above referenced passages he was speaking to his disciples who were rebuking the parents of the children whom had brought them to touch him. But then again all little children can do in their folly is to touch the Word because they wouldn't have known how to read.

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; 1 John 1:1

The blind and deaf man would be a fool to come into the presence of God thinking himself wise.
Do you believe God is omnipresent?

The only way that we can be righteous , Is by the blood of JESUS, & if we are keeping HIS commandments we will stay clean . We brake his commandments , then we are flitty Again ,& need the blood to cover that sin also , But if we are keeping HIS commandments, then we will stay clean . We haft to brake GODs commandments to SIN . With out GODs commandments , There is no sin . keeping the commandments can not make you clean . If you get dirty ,& don't do any thing else to get dirty .your steal dirty .
