How many deeds, what quality of the deeds, do you then believe will qualify your faith not being fake, and hence being accepted by God?
wonder if choosing twelve disciples had any connection with the twelve tribes
I don’t think it qualifies your faith but solidifies it. Again, look to Jesus. He just didn’t say things but actually did them. Care for your fellow man. There is no quota the must be attained. It’s a continuous form of love that lasts until your time is competed on this Earth. Why did Jesus say that he must wash his Disciples or they would not have any part in him? Was Jesus not showing them how to be servants via his deed?
They will be sitting on 12 thrones ruling over matters involving the 12 tribes in the age to come
Matthew 19:28
You are justified by the faith OF Christ. I am sure it is solid enough.
You are, but you won’t grow and hence wither. Remember the parable of the mustered seed.
Different dispensationalists may have different views on this.
For the rest of us who are non Jews, as of now, I don't think the 12 will have any authority over us. Maybe Paul will be the one with that authority?

They needed Matthias to complete the 12, after Judas.
By the time James, the son of thunder, was executed though in Acts 12, the Jews have already rejected the 1 year extension offer of the Kingdom, so there was no need to replace him.

He spoke also of this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.

Jesus earthly ministry was 3 years. When Jesus was on the cross, he asked his father to forgive them for this act, because they know not what they do, the Father agreed to Jesus request.
That one year expired roughly around the time Stephen was stoned. What I meant was that, even after one year extension, the Jewish nation still rejected their Messiah.
If it is finished seems to imply finished, would a extension be not really finished?
It is finished refers to the problem of sin that caused man to be separated from God, being resolved forever.
That is separate from the Jewish nation acknowledging Jesus as their promised King and Messiah.

7Ain, Rimmon, Ether, and Ashan—four cities, along with their villages,8and all the villages surrounding these cities as far as Baalath-beer (Ramah of the Negev).
