Oh my gosh she's beautiful! And I love your mauve colors.. very soft and inviting.
I like how she's looking up expectant .. like "What do you want mom?"
Thank you, Denise! Luna is a rescue kitty, a blue point according to my daughter, who got her for me over five years ago. (My daughter is somewhat of an animal expert, especially regarding cats and dogs.) I think Luna's look would be expectant more along the lines of "What have you got for me, mom?" LOL :giggle::geek::devilish: She is quite the character :D

Wow she really does have beautiful eyes doesn't she!? And I like the wispy eyebrows sweeping up to her ears. Really really pretty :)
Thank you, Denise, she really is a spunky little girl, and that photo did not really do the splendor of her fluffiness justice :giggle: Her collar/mane got so wild at one point I had to cut it back, but strangely, it seems to change of its own accord over time. To me she is very cute but rather a bit plain looking after having a Calico cat for so long. My daughter got Luna for me because my previous cat passed on after more than 16 years. I had two at one point who were sisters, but the other one tragically fell to her death twenty one years ago.

My daughter has cats and dogs. Her dogs are quite the going concern! She takes very good care of them :)

You have no reason to be lonely with that crew of yours 😉

They are too precious
Thank you :) You're very right! This is my little pug. Her name is Sookie :) She puts both paws around my neck and takes turn kissing my ear lobes. Really cute, playful and full of love. She's about a year old. She works really hard making sure the other dogs know she loves them too. I've never seen a dog work so hard at loving everyone in the family. Maybe it's because she's small. I've never had a pug before. Maybe that's their nature? Anyway she's the sweetest most loving dog to her family.
Thanks for your reply. Happy New Years Eve!!

They look happy don't they. Not a care in the world. Neat coloring on the one on the left. That was cute you said they are quite the 'going concern' haha instead of growing concern. They look sweet and obedient. My big dog (Jack) came from rescue. I got him as an adult and he had been abused previously. He comes with a little emotional baggage. Very extremely obedient, never had an accident in the house, never left the yard even when he's not in the fence, never chewed anything up .. great right? But he can't go anywhere or be around many other people besides me. He gets shakes and quivers and whines and can't walk straight up... But when he's at home he's fine. No idea what was done to him but you know.
My other mixed terrier also came from the Humane Society. He had been a stray so took at least 2 years to get him to stop running around the neighborhood and stealing things lol Came home with a shoe, dog's bones I didn't buy.. kept jumping the fence or finding holes. Somebody took him off and dropped him in the country... probably a neighbor. I contacted the Humane Society and gave them a description. And then I prayed and cried. Funny thing I had previously prayed ... God please take this dog off my hands.. haha Then he's gone and I'm worried sick. Anyway somebody turned him about 6 months later to the pound and I went down there to get him and he FLIPPED OUT ... attacked my face with kisses. He was so excited I had to pull him away from my face and set him on the floor and give him a few min to calm down. It was a very happy reunion.. I was crying.

haha Dunno where you all find these animations but they're fun
Beside the little camera icon above the top of the message box, between the camera and the " + down arrow" (for inserting [youttube] media and other code etc) is something that says Giphy when you hover your cursor over it. Click that, then enter your search criterion to see what comes up, and then click on one of the selections :) The code will then be entered automatically into your message.

I found this when I typed in "dog" :D

The longer I look at that giphy, which did strike me as funny at first, the more I find it disturbing. I will never post it again. That pit bull pup looks like it means business, and the cat knows it. The cat also looks like it has nowhere to go to escape the relentless onslaught. That is what I find most disturbing. Pit bulls have been outlawed/banned in some places, due to being "aggressive, dangerous, and vicious."

Yeah, I was actually thinking the same thing upon closer inspection. The lightsaber part is funny but the serious issue is that that dog (any dog not socialized early with cats) will kill a cat after wearing it down if they aren't separated. That cat was fighting for it's life.
I can't say anything about pit bulls. I had one for 11 years and she just died of cancer in September. Broke my heart. (still cry and miss her - keep her collar and handkerchief) by my bed. She was the kindest and sweetest of dogs. She trusted me so completely and was extremely submissive to me. I got her out of rescue too. She was also good to my other pets. So unbelievable gentle. This is my favorite picture of them together. Jack and Aida were crazy about each other. Sit and stare at each other about 7 inches apart. Jack is a little lost without her now and has started barking more in the back yard for no reason. I have to bring him inside more so he doesn't disturb the neighbors. He never barked when Aida was alive. Jack and Aida best picture.jpg

Sweet. Yes, I do understand that the problem is more human than animal. It is wonderful that you have had such lovely loving pets. It is a testament to YOU and your heart :D I cannot have a dog where I live, and I really do love dogs, though I joke that there is one thing about them I do not like, and that is the fact that they smell likes dogs LOLOLOLOLOLOL. Dogs are more high maintenance than cats also. My daughter's dogs make such a big fuss when I show up at her place; they really let me know they love me, and that is always nice :):):) My daughter is the alpha dog. Haha. Yep! They listen to her, and that is a good thing :) Others want to spoil them. A balance is required :D
